Where to put my companion bed?

Im torn between putting a bed for my pet in the "Hangout" room with all the fishes or the front navigation area, which one is better?

the hangout seems the best, but if your nav quaters are that cluttered you can opt for it too.

Yeah they do. :)

Both Kubrows and Kavats will lay down on it.

I guess my pets are just weird then, I bought all pet bed variants, never once saw them use it :/

They do use it, yes. I love it when my kavat uses the one I purchased for it.

Ah, maybe it breaks if you have more than one bed at once. I just have one bed and my pets use it often.

I was wondering the same thing, if the pets use the beds or not and so I figured since there was conflicting reports, I would try it for myself. Soooooooo. I bought a pet bed, placed it in the ship and sure enough, within about 2 mins the dog is laying on it. So for all of you who said it does not work, it does. I only have one pet bed, perhaps more would make it confusing, I'm not sure.

I put my pet bed in the living quarters area, next to that window that looks out into space. My tea set sits atop Pedestal Prime nearby. That way I can enjoy my kavat's company while I enjoy my tea and listen to some music on the somachord, while also watching the stars pass by. It's soothing.
