Taxon...attack mode?
Is there a way to set the attack mode of the companion?
I am trying to stealth kill me to the prison and it attacks each and every enemy it sees. :-(

Or is it different?

Well yes. If you remove it's Molecular Conversion ability, then it will not be able to provide you with overshield.
But it can still be useful for abilities like Guardian which boost shields when down. Useful incase stealth fails and you need to fight.

Besides... for stealth, Shade or Huras Kubrow are your best companion options.

You can unequip the mod that makes him attack.

Attack mods and weapons are different things
For taxon you'll need to remove Molecular Conversion and whatever weapon you have equiped to it as well

Thanks

Oh and also another good reason for Shade, other than it's obvious stealth ability. It's attack mod is set so that it will only attack if you are being attacked. Making it only attack if stealth fails.

Yeah for stealth i just run a custom shade that has zero attack mods and no gun equipped... had to many incidents..

As far as I know the sentinels shouldn't attack in the first place if you aren't detected.

At least that's the thing with my Carrier.

As i stated a bit earlier. You can run with Shades attack mod without worrying about ti breaking stealth. As it will only return fire if it's master is attacked first. And the range is very limited at just max 10m.

That's because Carrier's attack mod is limited to max 10m fully upgraded. So the enemy is more likely to spot you and attack first, before Carrier ever returns fire. Otherwise it will open fire freely at any enemy within range, wheter you have been detected or not.

Nah, I have eagle eye which increases shooting range for sentinels, and I can walk behind the enemy all I want and Carrier won't shoot as long as no one sees me there.

Use a fully upgraded hush mod to silence any primary weapon, including sentinel. It will keep your sentinel from alerting the whole room.
