Because it acts like Arca Plasmor and when you fight Teralyst it will hit him several times in a row.
2: Scaffold
http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Pencha_Scaffold
This is so that you can quickly level it up by one shotting people when they are put to sleep by your Equinox but even your normal shot can kill quite a lot of enemies in one shot. Stick to like Saturn Ext mission for leveling.

Because extra energy is better than the other two for you. You won't really run out of ammo and the crit chance are abysmal so get 40 more energy.
Shraksun is the best scaffold for eidolon hunting because it allows you to quickly dispose of the huge amount of vomvalysts that spawn after you have killed a teralyst. It also deals fairly good dmg against the teralyst itself. Pencha is very good vs everything. Klebrik deals less dmg than those two but is also a very fun choice because it does not require any aiming, which makes it especially good against lone vomvalysts and kuva clouds.
Juttni and Lohrin are the best braces. Clapkra is absolutely useless, you already have so much amp energy if you have put any points in the Madurai passives. If you use Juttni with Granmu you regenerate some amp energy between shots so you can shoot longer than you could with Clapkra.
before then -> T2 Prism / T1 Scaffold / T2 Brace
