How to switch weapon loadouts?
It's a PITA to always run back and go to my weapon "upgrade" and switch loadout for every mission. Isn't there some way to select loadout from the mission screen?

you can switch loadouts in the navigation screen. at the bottom right corner you can see the loadout selection button which allows you to choose between loadouts you already made

Oh but that's like for the whole thing, warframe, weapons (all 3), companion... I mean like how you can switch weapon "config" - but I want to switch the config for weapon without having to go back to equipment.

setting a duplicate loadout with the mod setup to the alternate mod setup. other then that, there isnt.

Hm, so I have only 5 slots for that (I know I can buy more with plat), so that means 3 are needed for each faction (damage types). That leaves only 2 left. And that's only for 1 frame, and I run with different warframes for different missions. So it's really actually quite impossible to do.

Surely there is some other way? It can't be that everyone always just runs back and forth to the equipment screen to switch out frames and weapon configs for every single mission?

Esc > Equipment > Arsenal might be slightly faster (alongside Esc > Navigation for the return trip).

I do that for 200++ hours before figuring out that I have 4 loadout slots. :steamfacepalm::steamfacepalm:

you do get an additional slot for every 2 mastery ranks , but yea that would still be absurd to do. The keyboard shortcut menus would be slightly faster depending on your FPS/keyboard skills, but honestly, running with faction specific weapons builds isnt really needed. Most of my weapons have 1 all around build, with a few weapons having 1-2 more build with different utility mods on them. My loadout slots are divided up among my warframes because i combo certain weapons with certain frames, and having the max possible in the game, i still dont have enough.

There are keyboard shortcuts for the various menus? Wot? Where?

the whole thing is indeed a sorry excuse for usability - and even with over 20 slots (you can buy more than the usual number, ofc) it still is a bad way to handle the loadout. worst thing though is that we can't save a focus-school to a loadout too. i can't even count the times i had to abbort a mission and/or leave the plains/cetus just because i had the wrong loadout and/or focus still active.
there are so many ways DE could make it much easier, and still they keep using this unproductive method... much like a few other things in the game (like the matchmaking in whole).

press esc> select menu options

Yeh, but there are no menus under keybindings. Are you talking about something else?

Keybindings does not equal keyboard shortcuts all the time. ESC + Arrow Keys + Enter you can anvigate thru the menus without haing to run thru the ship, which cna be less annoying/slightly faster

You can't cycle your config unless you return to arsenal. This is why I use certain frames for certian factions. It saves a lot of time (and provides variety). Alternatively, you can configue each of you 3 weapons per loadout for each faction and just favor a different weapon when you switch factions.
