A question regarding Excalibur Prime.

Aside from the whole Founder exclusivity thing, is there any other reason why that warframe has never been made available to the rest of the playerbase? It strikes me as a bit odd for studio who puts so much emphasis on doing free-to-play right to lock a statistical upgrade (however small) to something behind an old paywall.

Just wondering. I've been seeing discussions about it for years but never really bothered to check why it was done that way.

So most players will be permanently locked out of 18k mastery points which will be the difference between MR29 and MR30. Guess this means 99.9% of players will never have the chance to earn the relevant achievement for it unless they cheat.

12k actually (weapons are 3k). But regardless, DE almost certainly won't just stop adding content at that point because well, why would they?

I counted Braton and Lato Vandal from the closed beta.

The thing I'd like to know is what comes after that (assuming it gets that far or they don't move on to something else after)
One would assume they wouldn't cap at 30 if you can get enough mastery to get another rank
I suppose they could make 29 to 30 ridiculous but that seems unlikely

imo they need to remove excal as one of the starter frames...the reason so many ask about xcal prime is its usually the frame most players pick at the start and either:

- want to continue progress/perfect 1 frame at a time(get frame -> get primed -> move onto next)
- are unsure about other frames and want to stick with what they know

They could probably swap him with oberon which is probably a good starter frame instead.

Pretty sure it was stated that either Braton or Lato Vandal, or both, are eventually going to come back.

DE just asked the vet community how they felt about it. Shortly afterwards the invasion system was reworked to include event weapons parts so everyone ASSUMED that they were being added back in. That was well over a year ago and DE hasn't spoken on it since.
