Exodia projectile DOES however damage enemies on the other side of the rift, and will still deal self damage as well.
No idea if zaws have an effect on the arcane or not, my understanding is damage is dictated by the level of the arcane.
Exodia contagion is not affected by rift so you can dmg enemies inside or outside the rift and can even kill yourself in one hit. It isn't affected by stasis either so you can use it anytime.
Best zaw for this arcane is the dagger forged by Balla thanks to flat dmg bonus from Covert Lethality. A maxed rank arcane can kill bombards lvl 100 in sortie or lvl 150 in index with one hit after travelling 30m.
And with Covert Lethality, the dagger is literally a beast.
You should aim for a zaw with good crit chance, dmg + enough speed. Exodia contagion is not affected by the base speed of zaw. However I prefer fast dagger for Stinging Thorn stance.
The dagger should be moded for speed (faster projective travelling time = less curve), crit dmg, crit chance, dmg, elemental dmg. A riven with +speed, +dmg/crit dmg, +crit chance is a god tier riven for this arcane.
The arcane is not affected by combo counter, Blood Rush, range mods, channelling, slide crit.
Conditional Overload and some other mods only affect the projective and not its explosion -> not worth using.
PS: Playing as Limbo and not using his 4 is quite a surprise to people. hehe.
.867 atk speed
10% status chance
32% critical chance
96 total damage
hopefully that .867 atk speed isnt too painful. But mostly can attack once in the air anyway??
I plan to make a zaw dagger with this config too , atk speed also is the thing I worried about. Have you crafted this zaw dagger? What do you think about the atk speed ?
I think the travel speed is player preference. I ended up not using attack speed mod and went for dps mod. Arguably, the slower travel speed is better because at least you have a bit of time to get out of range of explosion if you make a mistake. If you wanted to hit target at long range, then faster travel speed will make it easier.
I made 2 daggers. Balla Kwath Vargeet II Ruhang (32 crit chance 10 status chance) and Balla Kwath Vargeet Ruhang (25 crit chance 14 status chance). After testing the 25/14 performed slightly better. However, I have a crit chance riven and in that case 32/10 is better because of more consistent crits. I think with riven I got mine to almost 80.
