Well, that medi ray wont save you when playing high level missions, better off taking life strike or pads with you honestly. It's just a nice bonus healing every now and then, get yourself a carrier prime and you will rarely see him die.

High armor and high hp, slap on some armor and get a regen and you will rarely see him down. Even better if that regen is a primed one. Of course, i only use my sentinel for the vacuum mod so.

actualy there are no "must have" mods. you can make this game as easy or as difficult as you want it to be and with that mods are just options for your playstyle.

it works as a passive way of regaining health, it is not useful if you are not running vitality on your warframe as getting healed for 15 health is waste of life.

depends on playstyle, all in people with shotguns and melee should probably prefer life strike while medi-ray is more for people who know when to disengage and not go over their heads.
I still prefer that over using health pads for everything but when I am out of options life pads are my last resort.
I remember spamming 15 life pads when Stalker comes just so I, or whoever is the target, stay alive so I get chance to get all his drops

To me it’s kind of useless mainly because vazarin dash heal is a thing 60% of my max health healed over 5 sec it’s amazing on inaros cuz I get over 2k health when I dash through my frame

knuckles, does your sentinel have a gun equipped?
mine doesnt, and pretty much never dies. because it doesnt draw fire.

Personally I put Medi-Ray on all of my sentinels. Tho I typically use my sentinels for utility as apposed to for damage. To the point where I don't even equip them with weapons as none of them have attack precepts anyhow.

It really depends on how you play and what you use your lil buddies for.

It's only must-have on Inaros since it heals by hp %.

Medi-Ray works well only on Inaros. Up to level 100 it works on any other frames well as well. The basic mods for a Sentinel - other than the health/shield mods - are: Vacuum, Medi-Ray, Regen/Primed Regen and Sacrifice.

Also, Carrier Prime simply outclasses all other sentinels regarding survivability and Carrier's precepts are the best for longer runs.

Even with guns equipped the enemies won't aggro the sentinel that much. The problem with Sentinels in high level missions are all the AoE attacks from enemies, like Bombards or different kind of Auras.

Sacrifice is not basic at all, most people even prefer not to use it because it's faster to revive manually. Also if the content is so hard that you in some way manage to die then the sentinel has no chance of staying alive long enough to revive you.

It's by no means must-have, but pretty nice thing to have. Just put some survivability mods into sentinel. Regen/primed regen especially.

Yeah, Medi-Ray is nice to have but it's not a must have. Mind you, when you only have 300 HP, it can get you out of some tough spots when you don't expect it. Besides, what would you put in place of it? Self Destruct? Spare Parts? Coolant Leak?

In that way, it's like Guardian.

On the other paw, if you have unlocked operator mode, you can get 25HP/s for frames and 100% HP for operators in 5 dashes.
healing return for me, i love using the nami skyla prime and even got a riven for it so healing return works perfectly for that weapon
