Seriously, Tenno are the biggest hypocrites in the Origin System. We won't lift a finger unless we're getting something out of the deal, Ruk was right.
They lost their parents, and rather than help them the orokin screwed around with them and turned them into child soliders. Then after they had won the war for them wanted to wipe them out as a thank you. Now they are awake in a system changed almost beyond recognition with enemies all around them.
The grineer are hunting you from the moment you awake (unless you think captain vor just wanted to make sure you were tucked in). The Corpus want to farm the tenno for components. The infested are... well... infested and there is still orokin and sentient remnants kicking around.
At this point anybody who doesn't open fire the moment they see a tenno will probably earn their loyalty.
