100m Headshot riven not counting????

Took the vectis to the plains with a "kill 10 enemies with headshots from at least 100m away" and my kills aren't registering. wtf am i doing wrong

stupid question but you made sure to equip the riven on your weapon, right? (so, rifle riven goes on a rifle etc.)

Yes it's in the weapon, the message would even pop up when im in the plains. There would be no progress counter popping up after every kill tho.

Had to do 2 runs for the 'defence mission, no damage to pod' challenge, even though first succeeded. Just seems a bit hit and miss at times.
Same issue, never said it suceeded or failed, just left and nothing happened.
Sound liek same deal except instead of my 1/1 you have 10/10.

If you arent getting credit just leave and reeenter.

tips : tag enemy you want to shoot see if it is 100m or not and make sure you shoot them on the HEAD

The Plains seems to be bad for that, I had a similar chellenge, but while in archwing, and it didn't seem to be working like OP said. Left and came back and it was fine. I think I've had 2 or 3 rivens do this but its only ever happened on the Plains challenges.

yeah , I have the same one and haven't gotten any success yet. Still 0/10
Of course, honestly, I can barely see things at 100m, much less shoot them..... much less shoot them in the *head*.
I had a couple in the plains that I nailed, only to realize they were 75m away, not 100m. Cuz, they moved before I shot.
So.... there's that.

I had this earlier. No idea about plains because I refuse to ever go there again, but I ended up getting it done on Pluto. Found a really weird niche spot where I could JUST eke out 100m away with Ivara using noise arrows and a zipwire, but if you got the tile with the big aircraft hangar it'd probably easy to get enough distance with such tools.

So if it seems like things are bugging out on plains for whatever reason, rushing through a Pluto map could be worth trying. Remember that you don't even need to actually finish a mission to have the riven clear count.

I did it with a Grinlok on the plains using 8x scope and I have not found issues.
The only bad thing is, except Dargyn pilots, you have to headshot kill at 100+ meters... but looks like monsters won't spawn if you are over 150m from the grineer camps. Very annoying :(

I've had that issue, I was unveiling a riven for a friend who has bad PC and cannot access PoE.

I was in the mood for a bow so I went in yolo with Rakta Cernos. Harder for sure but it is not the point.
When I entered the PoE my additional affinity mission or whatever you call that thing was to nail 20 headshots and Riven Challenge showed up which means I should be able to complete it.
So I've got my self to camping spot, missed few shots and then nailed 1 headshot. Mission counter did count it, riven counter didn't. Mkay. Did 6 more headshots that were registered by mission counter, riven challenge did not move.
Wen't back to cetus, got a sniper, went back to PoE and every headshot counted.

Not sure what was the deal but got it
