i have a slow HDD and it takes a while to load
i tabbed out and back in again, the screen was black and i saw the "anti addiction timer" thing

since the GDPR thing is a thing now, i saw csgo had an anti addiction timer so i instantly linked it back to warframe after actually seeing it.

What's that supposed to be? I play hours, get the chat message of "you've playing for an hour, take a break" and that's it.

Never got it's purpose. If you are addicted to the game, that little frequent message would change that.

It's there to remind you that you've spent another hour on the game.

Sure, you can continue playing, but considering the game has no in-game clock whatsoever, I appreciate its existence. It is very easy to lose track of time when playing this game.

i figured it out, the game bugs out due to my slow hdd and shows that hidden element, its used to keep track of the time you've been playing for
same with CSGO and dota 2, dota 2 warns you after playing for too long, csgo just keeps track of time played

I never noticed it in this game but playing The Division too long will get the NPCs to start telling you that "you look tired" and "get some sleep".. kind of annoying... I also felt they started to lower drop rates if you play too much... I just quit playing. Not like they are going to get me to slow down my playtime... I'll just play something else if they don't want me to play with them.

GDPR has absolutely nothing to do with making people play video games less. It's about data protection.
