This gets my vote
Don't get me wrong, I am sad to see him go. This just seems like a horrible idea. I do think that raising cancer awareness is good though, this is just not the time to do it. I don't think TB would've appreciated it if we made a big deal out of his death specifically when so many are suffering from the same disease.
I agree.
Honestly I think more a memorial sale for some ribbon or avatar or cosmetic that is sold in his honor for what he done for the gaming community and that the funds it creates would be donated to Cancer research. Id bet he would be proud of that
"There are no words to describe the impact this man had on Warframe. Overwhelming sadness and sympathies to his loved ones."
Straight from Ford herself. His interactions with Warframe helped build the game whether you will admit it or not.
There is no assurency of equity in this world. People care about him more than others because he was more public than others. No one has said there was a manopoly on grief, and the fact remains that TB was a titan of the industry; this is not just about Warframe, this is about remembering someone who had considerable impact on how games are thought about as a medium. And if people want to commerate him, I cannot think of a reason why they shouldn't.
And why in the world do you think you would have known what TB would have wanted?

I won't be adressing this argument anymore, for the sake of this thread.
Suffice to say, as I said above, there is never going to be equity on grief. You are propositioning a certain ethical argument which I'm not even sure I agree with, however, as DE has stated already TB has done a considerble amount for the industry, and I'm hoping he will be recognised for that. It's that simple.
And yes, I agree the relay might be a bit overkill, it was simply a suggestion that was popular among others.
On the topic at hand:
I really, really want some display art that I can put on my orbiter.
I want to keep this personal, not travel to some relay.
That does not mean I am against any of the suggestions.
They could build an entire solar system after him and I'd be fine with it.
I just want my display art.
