the dex weapons given in the recent aniversary included free weapon slots afaik, also the free dual heat sword and vectis too i think

Vault runs are an awful way to get plat quickly, primed parts are a much more reliable method. Most corrupted mods will either be very rare, compared to the cost of selling them, or people will only want to buy them at max rank.

Primed parts can be gained quickly, require almost no set up (beyond having relics) and generally have far more buyers on trade chat. My advice would be to try for the latest prime access frames and weapons to sell as those tend to be the ones with the most interest.

Do defense and survival missions and you should gets relics as a reward on some waves, you;ll also get them from successfully doing spy missions *if you're starting I'd recommend that too to get the dual status/ elemental damage mods)

When you select void fissure mission you're given the option to choose which relic to take and what that relic will contain, try and pick whatever relic has stuff from the current prime access as that stuff tends to sell much better.

FREESWORD will get you a heatsword + slot, for example.

Okay, you might need to paly a bit more of the game, I think you're a bit too under levelled for a lot of that (look up the wiki and watch some youtubers would be my advice)

To start making platinum for yourself I would start by doing Vault Runs in the Orokin Derelict to get Corrupted Mods to sell. Vault Runs are easy and you don't really need to have anything special or be a high MR to do them, hell even an MR 0 can do them really. Well, I would watch this video on how to do them and where to get the stuff to be able to start doing them. Just be sure to get a group of people in recruitment chat with the other Dragon Keys. You can do something like H Vault Runs 1/4 (H = Hosting, LF = Looking For. Generally in LF people want certain keys or frames used. This is the general lingo of recruitment chat, so learning what things mean will help you out in the future)

After you get some Corrupted Mods (or anything else) then you can sell them on http://warframe.market/ (it's a great website for selling/buying/price checking things) which you'll want to make Sell orders (after you make an account on the website) and leave the website open while ingame. This is so people can message you while you're ingame to purchase your stuff. Then you can invite them to your clans dojo (you can invite someone to your dojo by going to the dojo then right clicking their name to 'Invite' them) and then use the Trading Post to trade with that person or you can trade with them at Maroo's Bazaar at Mars. Just be wary of the trade tax and your maximum trades per day (your trades per day are based on your MR) and you can only start trading at MR 2. Some things such as prime items require a certain Mastery Rank before you can trade them to someone!

Once, you get the hang of trading then you can start farming for various prime sets selling them on the Market for platinum, they normally sell for more than the invididual pieces separately. You can get the various prime parts from doing fissure runs and using relics or upgrade relics using void traces to get the specific parts that you need. A set being all of the blueprints or blueprint and the parts (if it is a weapon/sentinel). Resources and normal warframes/weapons cannot be traded.

Still, "prime sets" are mostly out of reach. If you're "short on inventory space" you've probably just started the game, and there aren't a lot of "sets" that come from Lith only, oir maybe Lith and Meso (yeah, my foundry is currently cooking a Lex Prime).

Same for "Corrupted mods". I've never done this, and my setup has improved somewhat since I tried a Derelict once, but that was without a key... and I can't make those keys anyway.

Endgame stuff even includes those timed vaults: I've hit a few of them, NEVER made it in time. Pretty much took away the incentive to do void stuff at all, at least for now. And that wasn't even the last void branch -- I don't have access to that yet, I think.

So, from my perspective, none of this is newbie stuff.

This is why you always bring a full squad when doing vault runs (doing it solo is just going to be a major waste of time) and the dragon keys only require Void Traces which come from Void Fissure missions or alerts. You don't even need to equip a relic in void fissure missions to receive void traces, all you have to do is collect 10 reactant then there you go.

You can use codes at the market console. There's a little button in the bottom right. FREESWORD and FN6B-8RML-MLH6-GM2N give you a melee and a sniper which both come with "potatoes." Vectis even comes with a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Do not sell these. DO sell off your MK1 weapons after you max their levels, there are better options and you can simply buy the normal version of MK1s in your loadout screen.
