movement keys dont work on warframe

i just recently reinstalled warframe and everything was working smoothly. Then a few minuts later i decided to rebind my use key from x to f. after i did that, my use key no longer worked. Then a few minuts later my wasd keys stopped working. i cant move any direction.

Things that still work:
-i can look around just fine with my mouse
-when i press esc it goes into the menu and i can still scroll with wasd

Things ive tried:
-unplugging my keyboard and plugging it back in
-restarting the game
-rebinding my keys
-played around with starting the game with with different variations of my controler plugged in and unplugged

yes i have. ashamed to say that ive done it more than once expecting different results

Dammit, looks like that bug's still around despite attempts at a fix. Don't worry though, there is a workaround.

Go into Warframe's files, and look for ee.cfg. Delete it, and then run Warframe again. In the launcher, verify your files, then if necessary optimize them. A fresh ee.cfg will be created, but this will reset most of your options to defaults.

Looks like rebinding keys still needs to be looked at. In the meantime, stay away from the keybind menu.

I try not to be snarky, forums are to assist but you likely did not get responses earlier because it's literally the first thing that comes up if you put 'Warframe ee.cfg' into any search engine.

This issue just happened for me. I have to suddenly start using ALT+WASD or CTRL+WASD to move. Keybinds still show WASD correct, as well as the arrow keys. Those still work. Very odd.

October 2019 and this bug still exists, this means that i cannot modify my controls?
