Question about Ivara's navigator ability

On the wiki it says right clicking slows the projectile but in game there is no difference when I right click

The tonkor and lenz get a special mention since they have stupidly high crit chances so (especially with the lenz) you're gonna see absurd damage from stacking crit multipliers, navigator's multiplier, headshot multipliers, and the critical headshot multiplier.

Quiver and bows:

Quiver and navigator is awesome from a pure utility standpoint. helps with tagging allies with a cloak arrow or throwing sleep arrows from otherwise tricky angles. Bows combine the wonderful advantages of sniper rifles (high damage, high crit, innate punchthrough) with being silent (so you can stay in prowl when using them). AND, they're projectiles so you can control the arrows with navigator and be yondu until you lose control or the arrow has maxed out it's number of targets/gone through it's punchthrough value.

Funny thing about opinions: they dont HAVE to be based in fact (I find pickles to be disgusting wastes of perfectly good cucumbers, my girlfriend loves them) but when they ARE based in fact (Melee weapons have a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of multipliers already and navigator throws another one into the mix making thrown melee weapons god tier with navigator), they aren't wrong.

The fact is it clearly states that LMB will Increase Speed, while RMB will Slow it down.
So if RMB does nothing it means it may only work after LMB speeding it up.

If you don't know after reading what Wiki says and you don't even bother to test then its your fault for not being smart enough to test things.

Not everything is writen for children and explained with pictures and videos, cause this is not a game for children and so they expect people to test things out and read what is writen and hope you understand what is writen.

yes because LMB=speed up and RMB=slow down just SCREAMS you can only slow down after speeding up, of course the first thing I would think after trying to slow down without ever speeding up would be that it only slows down after speeding up oh wait that's not how that works

Fair point about the Kestrel. I often overlook it because I don't use it much (too busy having a love affair with the Orvius and Glaive Prime), but considering when you can get it, its ability to stagger and open enemies for finishers, and that entropy mod, it's a very, very solid thrown melee weapon.

Probably the one thrown melee you don't want to use Navigator with is the Halikar. Its throw is notoriously weak in terms of damage, and being one of the fastest thrown weapons in flight, it's hard to actually activate navigator before your Halikar has hit an enemy or wall.

Glaive Prime can sometimes have similar problems, because it's also very fast. I don't have much trouble myself, but that might be personal bias because I'm very practiced with it.

while I dont have experience with the Halikar, I'd like to point out that you can activate navigator BEFORE you throw and you'll take control of the projectile as soon as you launch it (it's about the only way to use navigator with the daikyu, especially if you have a flight speed riven lol).
