ignore, permanent? result? better alternative?

I was just the first time in a map and someone called me noob because of .. something?
Don't know, if you just call someone noob, how should he know what you are talking about?

Perhaps because I am mastery 4 and he is mastery 4? Mmmm.

Whatever, I don't want to waste my time reading any text from idiots like that so I used the text chat context menu option to ignore him.

Funny thing is, when he was dying, I was just standing near him and NOT reviving him. I wonder how THAT happend. I wonder if he cursed. Too bad I could not read any messages from him at that point.

1. Is this ignore permanent or just for this map?
2. Does it have any other results like avoiding to match me with him?
3. Is there an alternative inside this game which really gives me the option to blacklist such idiots so I don't have to play with them? Ever?

You can't see messages from that player if he ignores you or you ignore him, that's all.

ESC/ Communication/ recent players and you should be able to ignore them from there or during mission open the chat, click on their name and select Ignore.

The game may put you in the same mission with them but you can ignore such badly behaving monkeys. Treat them how they treat you during the mission (Reviving, marking items etc) but do not lower yourself to their level verbally.

Ignores are permanent as far as I'm aware. Pretty sure it also keeps you from being auto-matched with them if you're on Public.

We don't need a history of someone's toxic behavior and your retaliatory toxic behavior; it makes both of you look like asses. D-bags are a dime a dozen; if we discussed all of their sins in detail we'd die of old age. Just slap an /ignore on 'em, and move on with your life.

I'm pretty sure there's a menu like 'Ignore List' somewhere that lets you manage it.

Lol what 99% of the time someone will revive you unless theres a struggle or they are far away

I read the post, nothing here to make a discussion about except a snowflake getting slightly melted because someone blew air in his direction.

I agree with the idea of anyone being below MR8 being a noob (because there is much to learn in this game). Being a noob is hardly an insult anyways, it's akin to being called a greenhorn. Everyone has to start somewhere, and ignoring people because they call you a noob (especially when they're the same MR as you). Just prove them wrong is all you have to do.

I wonder when we're going to get an 'allies healed' stat at the end of a mission so healers can get credit too?

You can still be matched with persons on your Ignore List.
