Is Loki a bad frame?

While he's my personal pick, I never see anyone in random missions using it, is it bad or is it just not a common playstyle?

No, by god he's really good. He sucks for certain things, but generally speaking he's a very good frame.

Warframes, weapons and combinations of all the things in warframe are only as good as the player himself
Warframes and weapons depend on mods and your actual skill into using them in order to perform good, in fact certain missions are in a large majority just mechanical difficulty, meaning you don't need to grind for better weapons or mods to actually succeed
Because of this all warframes behave just about the same, they are fair early on and beasts when modded for that task you envisioned weeks before hand.

If YOUR loki will excell or not is up to you, you're the one using it, practicing and modding him and this may come as a shock, but the best build is always the one you decide on your own because it will fit your gameplay perfectly and the results over long periods of time will reflect that.

Loki is most well-suited to playstyles and mission types that work well with solo play, so you rarely see him in public groups.

I find that he works well in groups. I stay invisible with my Paris and sniper enemies that are lined up to smack my decoy while I'm untargetted and I get free exp and loot from others doing high pace killing. I also recently realised my melee does a ton more dmg than my guns (apart from my paris) so going around cloaked and mashing E works wonders too as chopping enemies into tiny bits!

You literally just said all you do is leech off your team while doing nothing

Loki has a few things going for him.

- Speed. He's the fastest frame (besides Volt with his ability) - ignoring the Plains.
- Invisibility. He can go entire games without being detected.
- Switch Teleport + Decoy - He can cheese almost every Spy mission with Invis and these two to bypass the whole thing.
- Irradiated Disarm - A really good augment, Radial Disarm deals Radiation damage (makes enemies attack each other)

I use him in Sorties and easily come out with most damage dealt or most kills, simply because I can perma-invis and just fire away, most of the time with stealth damage bonus.

Loki is terrible in teams, no you wont get max damage EVER with it because its designed for single kills while other frames wipe out rooms by pressing 4. 99 percent of lokis ive seen just stand around invisible doing nothing

Loki is only good for solo (or spys) unless you like playing useless leech prime

that's like saying healers are leaches, there's more to teamplay than doing the most dmg, utility is important too.
