Not if he's using stasis. I don't mind being put in the rift, but having all my ranged weapons disabled is my primary complaint with Limbo.

not really, if you don't want to be in the rift just tap shift, and if he's using cataclysm and stasis just use melee, it's not like anything is going to kill you while using melee, stasis only affects the rift

The problem is that Limbo can dictate how team mates play. Which can lead to unfun sessions depending on the circumstances for allys. For example a team member may have a good primary and secondary but may be leveling a mastery fodder melee, forcing them to use a sub par weapon whenever Limbo does his thing.

Limbo has to much infulence over allys.

I've never dictated how other people play, I've never seen another limbo dictate how other people play, I've never had a limbo dictate how I play when not playing as limbo, and the example you give can be solved with this amazing thing called communication, or just tapping shift, stasis isn't an issue if you just leave the rift, limbo doesn't have influence over allies, you can't just blame limbo for all your problems

maybe using melee is influencing, except that again you can tap shift, and that objectively isn't, you act as if tapping shift is some sort of monumental task

Something people seem to always forget about Limbo, is that Warframe abilities still hurts enemies, wheter they are in rift or not. It's getting astounding by every day that this small information still not recognised by many.

I for one, is happy enough having Limbo in my team when I use Excal, and even want him to banish me.

I love limbo, he's a great frame, what I can't stand is limbo's rift walking and sitting at spawn while the rest of the team does the sortie, or rift walking and meditating on top of the defense point when cheesing hydron.

If you are under a cataclysm shift dosent do anything, shift is only if you get banished. The number one limbo build is stasis limbo, which is a cataclysm+ stasis combo to cc enemies. Even though at the point this is widely used thier guns aren't killing anything and enemies are destroying the objective people will object to this combo simply on the principal mindset "limbo is nothing but a troll" and scream in your ear/on chat ERRGMAGOD I CANT USE MY GUNS SHUT IT OFF YU FKING TROLL untill you do/just rage quit the mission causing migrations and mission failure.

But they are apparently "in the right" and "the victims".

Well, to be frank, there also are some weird people that play Limbos out there, so while there definitely are sensible Hatter players, there is still a significant amount of trolls, wise and not-as-much. Since this is the most abusable (sort of) Frame available, it's obvious it's going to be the one used by some people to intentionally get in everyone's way, which eventually builds its reputation as a trollframe.

You assume Limbo's will communicate. Most do not. Or will simple refuse.

All rolling does is take you out of the Rift if you're bannished, it does not stop statis, it does not unfreeze enemies, it does not remove enemies from the Rift, it does not stop Cataclysm. And since Statis+Catacysm is the most common use of Limbo, this is were the problem is.

Then there's problems like if a Limbo cast Catacylsm over an entire Spy Vault you cannot hack the consoles.

I'm someone who likes Limbo, but I understand how much inflence he has. Simple put, Limbo is fun to play, not fun to play with. Seeing the amount of Hate the community has for Limbo because of this, I think thats pretty clear.

My point was the people mad about limbo grief and troll just as much. Spawning into a sortie escavation, the team lost the first and second escavator within seconds of it spawning (I was spawned in 2 rooms away) by the time I get to the 3rd escavator it's half destroyed and the team is overrun barely killing anything. I drop a negative 50% range cataclysm over the escavator and activate stasis, swing my gaundau to kill everything and go to perch on top of the escavator when the host screams into his mic repeatedly ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ SHUT IT OFF. After ripping my headset off, I muted him and proceeded to defend the escavator. I inform him of the fact he's muted, and I have no intention of ending it since he can't seem to defend the escavator. His "buddy" types a bunch off cusswords in chat and they both leave, migrating us and failing the mission.

I also automatically run stasis limbo for any sortie MD. Starting a few months ago I have a 50/50 chance of the host aborting when I spawn in.

These victims aren't any better than many of the actual Limbo trolls. I wouldn't call them Griefers nor Trolls, though, as that requires, by definition, interrupting the gameplay with ill intent. But yeah, it's not excusing them much either.

However, this is sort of a different case - you weren't purposefully trying to make everyone's life harder, meaning you just flal into the ranks of people not using Limbo to troll, simple as that.

We had a Limbo guy who'd run around Banishing people left and right - which isn't a massive problem on its own, unless you're Trinity and this guy, after you told him to not just afk in the corner for the whole mission, starts just following you and casting Banish every two seconds (or whatever is the cast time of that skill). Guess who was this Trin. Interestingly enough, Trin's Primed Flow lets her run Leech without regen for far longer than Limbo can spam Banish.

There's also the SwitchLoki 'master race' of people who'd dedicate their entire life to jumping over pitfalls and Switching with their teammates, dropping their buffs and leaving them stunned for a second in the middle of an angry crowd of enemies. Not fun at all.
