Can't find Kubrow egg on Earth

I've played through the earth quest that wants me to find a kubrow egg from a den like 100 times and the dens dont drop a single egg after being destroyed. Am I better off spending plat on an egg or am I doing something wrong?

100 runs is unlucky RNG, just keep at it while doing something else as well.
Maybe do the spy mission, level some MR weapons from spy xp also, that way you make progress in something

I do the earth sabotage mission when looking for an egg because there is usually a decent number of nests. Finding two caches can grant an egg as well, and finding three can get you some rare mods for kubrows like bite.

Ya he must be doing something wrong like destroying 0-1 den per mission.

I haven't been farming since the earth update but there seems to be 5-8ish den per mission on E prime. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Yeah it all really boils down to ]RNG unfortunately and add the that the unfortunate issue that comes with Kubrow Eggs. You can only ever pick up one Kubrow Egg at a time so even if you find a second one the game won't let you pick it up if you havne't hatched the first.

However the Alert eggs will pile up for future use. So always do the Egg/DNA alerts even if you aren't interested in them at the moment because you might be in the future.

Also one of the things I frequently find myself doing is Building tons and tons of incubators. Why? Because Argon decays on a 24hr timer and if you don't do anything with it it will just vanish anyhow. So you might as well build an incubator core because those don't vanish and you might maybe use them in the future as well.
