We heard it all before, "stop complaining about Excal. Prime being exclusive, should've been a founder."

No, none of that.

I know that the founders paid for it, but do people who like to collect all the frames really have to suffer because DE decided to use Excalibur Prime as marketting-material only?
No ofcourse not.

I'm aware of him not being that powerful, but that doesn't matter, its the fact that an entire Prime Warframe isn't available because you didn't drop a ton of money on the game when it was completely irrelevant to the industry.

I don't care how he's brought back, like other Warframes, through an event, WHATEVER.

I, for one don't and won't drop money on these kinds of games for their shady business practices, and although DE is a lot more fair than other companies, I'm not going to drop money on this game either because of Excalibur Prime being an exclusive, which is objectively vey shady.

I keep turning off the game every. Time. Because I can't have that sweet 100% achievement of having all Prime Warframes.

Afterall, I think Warframe is about becoming more and more powerful, this prevents you from achieving that completion.

I REALLY hope DE will finally see some sense in this instead of listening to all of the nay-sayers and FINALLY release him again in some way, because its one of the only reasons why I keep turning off Warframe.

You could buy one of their accounts. Against TOS. And any of us who would be willing to sell don't play any more so . . . you'd have trouble *finding that guy* because he's moved on and its unlikely he's put his account up on ebay. But you never know.

I'm-a just gonna settle for umbra, which I'm pretty sure is DEs way of saying, "Yup. You founders are the only ones who will ever get excal prime. Everyone else will just have to settle for 'totally not a repriming of excalibur not-prime'."

But the issue remains, in a game about collecting and mastering all items, having an unobtainable item seems awfully flawed, even given the circumstances at the time.

I think DE is somewhat aware of this, but their hands are tied regarding Excalibur Prime. This is probably why we haven't seen anything this 'Exclusive' in Warframe again.

lets hope they don't do what wargaming did and sell tanks that were sold on the basis they would never be sold again. that caused a huge Sh*t storm on the forums.

basically they sold the mutant which was exclusive to early access people. then gave them the finger.

So what you are basically saying is that you are throwing your toys out of the pram because you can't get your own way.

Imagine playing World of Warcraft, you started in Legion because you thought it was cool, and then you start watching some youtube videos and you see people talk about something called AQ40 and you're like what the ♥♥♥♥ is that? So you head on google and check it out, what do you find? you missed the event by 12 years so what the ♥♥♥♥ can you do about it, and now you bet you wished to were there for something so huge and exciting however that will never be the situation (unless they decide to repeat the event for vanilla WoW, although the atmosphere is different) and everyone puts up with it.

I really wish I had excalibur prime, I'm incredibly envious of those who have him, however I refuse to complain about not having him for the sake of being a completionist, as you can't even find the founder's gear in the codex let alone looking through your profile. So if you wish to be a so-called completionist then you should fill your codex out and see that you won't be missing anything, like the rest of us non-founders.

Personally, I don't give a crap about any of this.
I am fine not having those items. They are nothing but MR fodder to me (might as well be cosmetics), and the mastery you get from them doesn't even matter (12K is a joke to an MR22 like me, who needs over 100K per rank).

I think "unvaulting" excal prime would make for an awesome event that could potentially draw in lots of players and make DE tons of money. There'd be a few disgruntled founders, but they're a minority, so who cares, right?

The only "problem" I see is that DE cares.
I completely understand why they'd want to keep their promise.
It's probably not a matter of numbers, but principles.
I assume they'd feel really bad about it afterwards.
That's why I think they won't do it.

It's actually even worse: If they ever released it again, they wouldn't be trustworthy anymore.
This promise had an huge impact on the company because it was a 'Thank you'-gift to those who helped them during hard times.

You get Excalibur Umbra for that.
But I'd be gladly to change my opinion, if you find at least twenty MR25 players (= players, who a near the 'achieving that completion'), who have the same opinion as you.

Even if some of us wanted Excal Prime back, no matter what, it's belong to Founder EXCLUSIVE. These founders deserve their exclusive. Now, some mod please close this.

*sigh* This again? Excal umbra should fill the gap for non-founders who don't have Excal prime. Besides he has a tiny bit more armor and some different looks, that's about it.

Even if I had excal prime I'd be sticking with my sandy boi Inaros forever.

Don’t consider it as an exclusive only for the founders, but as a thank you gift instead.

DE relied on founder packs to get funding for the game. Without founders, I doubt Warframe would exist. They deserve something special for that. And that special is all founder pack content, something that was promised to be to them only. And so is good.
