Naming weapons

To be more specific I mean primary and secondary weapons.
As most of you know any lvl30 melee weapon can be given a custom name at Hok's anvil for 15P, why cant we do the same with our other 2 weapon types?
I just really wanna name my Soma the RPK.

I would imagine when Venus have a Open World, we would rename our Primaries and Secondaries.

I would agree about that. Big updates normally take months to come.
