How to kill Dargyn Pilots before they hit the ground...

How can I do this without Mesa? Damn Riven challenges going crazy

Mesa would definitely make it easier... I'm counting myself lucky I haven't encountered this challenge yet, but I'd say the only other way to make it easier would be to use some kind of AoE and/or continuous weapon so you don't have to take an incredibly accurate pot-shot to hit the guy.

i did both the normal "kill the dargyn pilot before it hits the ground, aswell as its more pesky brother "while aimgliding" with nova, - some strenght, duration, a bit of range for the aoe ulti explosion - doesnt need much efficiency since youll not be casting a whole lot. 9/10 times the pilot exploded alongside the dargyn already.

the most timeconsuming or random part on that approach is finding the dargyns in the end.

Anything with decent accuracy and fire rate? I've been killing them before they reach the ground with Akstilleto Prime a countless number of time.

i had the dargyl crap with the addition of doing it while sliding...was pretty successful with equinox...build up a bit of maim, shoot a dargyl down with akstilletto started to slide activated maim again...worked pretty good-though it is still a crappy objective

I've found acid shells sobek does the job as when it kills the dargyr the explosion then immediately kills the pilot, of course you need to mod your sobek for high damage to compensate for the fall off.
