In terms of gameplay, however... How far through the Starchart did you make it thus far? Have you reached Uranus (and no, this isn't a joke-question)? One of the biggest chunks of 'plot' starts there.
With that said, you might want to get your Archwing equipment a bit higher in level eventually, or enlist the help of some clanmates to get you through the Archwing missions.
Speaking of which, are you a part of a clan already?
i dont like farming primes from fissures, first you have to pray to rngesus to drop the correct parts, THEN you need forma... the requirements are super harsh!
as for level 30 enemies... i have to whittle them down one by one :(
my most hated faction is the grineer. they can deal slash damage by shooting (!!!!) and deplete your hp even thru shields!!! how is this fair?
how do i save myself from dying like this?
if i didnt have the rhino, i would still be stuck on mars.
EDIT : what is a void fissure?
Rhino goes great with mashed potatoes Steel Fiber (which you are very likely to already have) and Armored Agility (which I don't expect you to have yet). Also, he needs more health (since only Health is affected by Armor, not Shields), so aside from the health increase mod you already have, you might want to get your hands on Vigor - mod that increases both Shields and Health considerably. Plus, you definitely want to have Intensify to increase Rhino's ability power, then Streamline to make abilities cheaper.
If you really love Hek, you should also check Scattered Justice mod - it's a Steel Meridian (faction) augment for Hek that increases the amount of pellets per shot, plus allowing the weapon to explode once you kill enough enemies with it.
But the thing is, you want to get those mods to higher levels. For 10-level mods, getting them to, say, 8 is almost essential. 5-levels better just be maxed. With that said, you might want to get your hands on an Orokin Catalyst and an Orokin Reactor to later stick them into Rhino and Hek. A Reactor alert happened just a day ago, hopefully, you were in the game to catch it; Catalysts seem to be a bit harder to come by as of late, but stay on the lookout for these. You can set up a phone app and change notifications there to show you Catalysts, if you really want to get one.
The idea is, you pick a Fissure mission, choose a relic of the same name (the game would only show you usable ones, anyway), then you would need to complete the mission like normally, except that, while you're there, you need to kill the new Corrupted enemies (shiny-golden ones) that drop Reactant. Pick 10 Reactant up before you leave the mission or end a 'rotation' (such as surviving 5 minutes in Survival, 5 waves of Defence, 1 ful round of Interception, or 200 Cryotic on Excavations), and once you extract, you would be able to take your Relic's contents (or anyone else's,, if you're in a group - don't worry, you can get a copy of the item they just received, as long as you've collected 10 Reactants).
In case of Inifinite missions, you get to choose the next relic you run with, and you'll be getting rewarded for each Rotation you beat.
Lastly, no, Relics are only 'used up' when successfully unlocked - you don't lose them for failed attempts (like when you've extracted without getting 10 Reactant).
The way I made it through the game was to always been leveling at least one frame, and always be leveling three sets of gear (Grineer, Corpus, Infested). The countless mini-objectives that presented themselves to me over the last 800 hours were always related to those things. It keeps you moving, keeps you researching.
Also, start busting open Lith relics. 4-5 minutes speedrunning Cambria on Earth will get you one relic. It's boring as ♥♥♥♥ but it's the fastest way to get 'em. Then start looking for Fissure missions, preferably Capture, Sabotage, or Extermination, in that order. The other types of missions tend to be crappy as Fissure missions. Run Fissure missions without relics for void traces to refine the relics for better drop percentages. Sell duplicate drops from relics for plat, or to a terminal in a relay for Ducats.
When you get enough Ducats, buy the Sands of Inaros quest from Baro. Inaros got me through the last 2/3rds of the star chart. He's a beast after you stick a Rage mod on him.
Go back to all the early missions, get the mods.
Look at the wiki to help with what mods you are missing, fill in the gaps. Suddenly you will find stuff gets easy once you have the mods.
i put in some work and got a good shotgun mod and 3 argon today!
