Tempo Royale is just baaaaaaaaaaad
seriously, the animations are long and lock you in place and you're more likely to get your arse shot off than take the heads of your enemies off of their shoulders.

the combos feel wonky to pull off (likely owing to the animations being longer than FFVII summons) and are again more likely to get your ass shot to hell than they are to collect heads for your belt.

I feel like I purchased primed :steamsalty: from our boi baro.....

oh well, at least my collection is slightly more complete *goes back to cleaving whirlwind*

The first attack in all four combos hits enemies in a 360 degree arc.

that's what it has going for it

Here's a quick tip: Try holding down the block button. Also try putting berzerker and fury on your weapon. Congrats, you have become a beyblade.

first attack in cleaving whirlwind is easymode headshots.
EDIT: I do stand corrected, i was thinking about sundered tusk's 3rd overheads (which, to be fair, tempo also has). however i'm happy with a 300 degree arc that doesn't chain into wonky ♥♥♥♥.

How come that I instantly started to laugh when I read the title ? Oh, yeah, because there surely wasn't another thread a while ago, where something good got called "baaaaaad".

Now on topic: Just as with EVERY stance there is, it's the preference of users. If you don't like Tempo Royale, then don't run with it and stay with Cleaving Whirlwind. I only use Tempo Royale 'cause it feels better for me. If that doesn't work out for you, then that's your thing and there's no point discussing it.
And since both stances are pretty good, there's no point in arguing about "which one is better" either. I really hate how people just rant about things they don't understand instead of just accepting stuff.
So just leave the fans of Tempo Royale be and keep running with your preferred stance. You don't bother us, we don't bother you, it's as easy as that.

I'm glad you noticed, it was done intentionally :)

I 100% agree with everything except for that last bit. While the (intended) tone of the title of this thread would sugguest otherwise, I feel that discussing the stances does provide value (cleaving whirlwind's multipliers vs tempo royale's mobility).

And since both stances are pretty good, there's no point in arguing about "which one is better" either. I really hate how people just rant about things they don't understand instead of just accepting stuff.

of course, i'm not gonna be a ♥♥♥♥ to you for using a stance I don't like (i might ask how you even make it work lol). in the grand scheme of things, stances are pretty irrelevant (with a few exceptions like high noon vs bullet dance) provided they work (and I've definitely seen tempo royale work).

So just leave the fans of Tempo Royale be and keep running with your preferred stance. You don't bother us, we don't bother you, it's as easy as that.

oh well of course. i certainly hope i didn't come off as attacking you guys just because you take flashy moves over practicality :-P (once again, harmless ribbing)

Always preferred Tempo Royale than Cleaving Whirlwind. Whilist Broken Bull combo deal absurd damage, it just locks yourself on ground and limit your movement a bit too much for my taste. Tempo Royale is much more agile in this case.

That's the joke

Anyways, I always preferred Rending Crane over the rest of the stances (more of a personal preference thing)

It's subjective that this specific stance is bad, but the worst of them all is dual dagger.
robruckus65 Jan 26, 2018 @ 5:53pm
I love tempo royalte the combo with the right click in it has amazing mobility you can just flya round a room killing everyhting. Never liked cleaving whirlwing the combos are slow and you are mostly stationary for them. It is the only heavy blade stance I use. dont use any of my heavy blades that often though i greatly prefer polearms, sword & shield, and dual swords for most gameplay.
