Best Controls(New)

So I am new, not to the game but to pc. I got my computer for Christmas and the controls are so much different than console. I wanna know what are the best controls to play on, switching weapons, etc.

The default ones suck, like majorly. They are so hard to get used to.

Yeah default, just keep playing till you get used to it. Or use like a 360 controller

i use F to switch weapons, E to interact, press down the scrolling part of my mouse for melee, C for secondary fire, B for the marker, P for puase, M for map,T for chat, R for reload, Q for mic(even tho i don't use it), TAB for gear and i forget what else.

Whatever you end up doing, what's important is: parkour/movement keys in easily accessable positions, and melee in comfortable position.

Here's my setup:

sprint/roll - shift
jump - space
crouch - mouse thumb button 4 (logitech proteus g502)
melee - mouse thumb button 5
secondary fire - mouse thumb button 6
switch weapon - c
gear menu - z
way point - v
mission progress - q
reload - f
use - e
voice chat - control
map - tab
synthesis scanner (hotkey changed from F7 to) - r

Whatever you end up doing, make sure to put all above in good positions because those are most important (except optional synthesis scanner)

Think of it like this, you have asdw for directional movement. Then you have all the keys around it available: qerzxcvf shift tab control.

things that would make me puke in this setup
1) crouch on mouse
2) reload on F - what the hell is wrong with you sir? since the dawn of human kind reload was on R

Controls are mostly up to ones personal preference but mine are:

Toggle Crouch = Z
Sprint/Roll = C
Sprint = Shift
Chat = Enter

The rest of the controls are then defaults

i am good the controlls are bad like why is E melee and why is X interact it makes no sense E is genraly interact and X is almost never used in any game it's also vary inconveniont
