Honestly, no amount of money you could potentially get from this really justifies this. But even then the act of monetizing this would inevitably anger the same people this is meant to serve becase instead of "Why do I have to play a woman/man." it would be "You expect me to PAY for the priviledge of playing a woman/man." which would be even worse.
And frankly, if you're making an entirely new model you might as well make it a deluxe skin or entirely new frame. That will make you more money and make community much happier than wasting time on gender swaps.
While on the topic of deluxe skins... think about the rate at which thosed come out. Yeah... how long would it take to make gender swaps just for the current roster? And what about primes? Do those get a new model too?
Having skins like that would take a lot of time and they can use that time making actualy playable stuff.
That seems a lot of work for a simple cosmetic change. but if they one time wanted to do that, more power to em.
Clent mentioned this only you gave more detail. now that I think on it, to be honest having a frame that is themed the same but different gendered would be interesting. A new name and new means of working with the theme of the powers.
Granted I think not EVERY frame should get have a swapped gender, a few really. More like DE should put up a sort of vote of what frames should be, and the top 3 get a gender rework.
You want DE to make three entirely new frames that follow a vague theme that has already been followed by an existing frame just because you want different "genders" on Warframes?
Technically we don't need to color our frames at all, and yet...

People love any bit of customization they can get. I think that it's an interesting idea, personally. Although Nidus... Wouldn't a female Nidus just end up as Saryn?
1) It adds options to the game. I don't get this - people complaing there isn't enough gender representation in games and then you come here and people ♥♥♥♥♥ if you suggest more gender representation would be desirable.
2) Yeah. Yes it does.
3) Like every other skin created on Tennogen. They're all made for free and the vast majority have no change at all of even getting into the market.
4) Because FashionFrame.
Of all the names you've listed, only Loki (and, questionably, Ivara) are not gender specific. There's nothing 'male' or 'female' about Ember, or Excalibur, or Nekros, or Hydroid, etc.
There was no operator, the frames were you and not a biomechanical puppet controlled from afar.
The lore reason to have (and keep) disctinct genders for frames (or to have genders on them at all) has gone now that that has changed.
Different gender doesn't mean a different model any more than any of the other skins that already exist would require this.
There are plenty of skins that change the model itself and are not simply retextures.
Please accept that the real world does care. Which is why the topic is brough up so often.
