See 5th bullet down in "Advantages" section here[warframe.fandom.com] for example.
Build Saryn [Prime] for tanking [+Hunter Adrenaline, +quick thinking (if you want)] and toxic lash and have Regen molt equipped. Attach 'Condition overload' to your weapon (preferably a stat proc'ing weapon) of choice.
Use in tandem with your other Saryn Powers to watch even enemies level 165 and even higher die like star chart enemies while your armor + regen molt (and quick thinking if needed) keep you from dying.
Combo that with his 1 for mind-control, and hit his 3 when you need health in a pinch or need to dash somewhere, and he's a pretty solid melee candidate
Rhino for a poverty tank.
If you're clearing random garbage content go for Volt/Valkyr/Loki/Excal, squishy frames are not good in general. They can work, but there's no reason for needing a work-around.
You don't need more speed, you don't need more damage. A whip or polearm by itself is enough to clear a room in a few spins, and scales high enough to kill anything better than any weapon with Blood Rush and Berserker.
You WILL need a macro or good binds to actually use Volt/Valkyr bonuses effectively.
Ash is pretty bad and scales poorly unless you clear low level content, in which case, anything works in general.
I heard you can make him work with a good Zaw or certain Arcanes in high levels, but it's niche and pointless unless you REALLY want to use Ash.
Saryn is pretty mediocre, as she barely helps Condition Overload, when you can make it nuke on its own with enough status, and her tanking is subpar.
That, and you don't -need- CO to kill anything.
She does work, however, melee is fast enough that you avoid most damage, and Regen Molt deals with most of the DoT that eventually gets you.
My rule of thumb is,
If you need status procs, you're not oneshotting, and you're doing it wrong.
I used to clears hours of Void Survival back when endless was useful content.
Again, if you're clearing low level content (<50), you might as well use quite literally any frame in the game and slap ''tanky'' mods, and it will work.
