Most popular and least used Warframes?
Hi all,
Wondering what do you think are the most popular and also the least used warframes ?
Most ive seen - Rhino,Valkyr,Octavia,Ivara, Volt (i think ive seen more of these than anything else)
Least -- Zephyr, Nyx, Khora, Limbo (only seen one and his ultimate was pretty cool)

anyone know whether there are any official stats of which are mostly used?

Here is a list made by DE and shown on a dev stream.

It was probably made before Mesa Prime got released.'Tis why she's not there.

I see Kohra's somewhat often, guess people started to realize that Whipclaw is broken and that sitting inside a Strangledome and not doing a damn thing is not how she is supposed to be played.

But guess Whipclaw build is harder so it takes time....

Reb had stats on one of dev streams, Nyx was dead bottom while starter frames were on top, likely because people stick to them for a long long time before switching.
Doubt Nyx picked up even after the rework, I built her recently with like 4 forma build, I do not see my self having any fun with that.

Saryn was also really high which was not surprising, and another unsurprising thing is Harrow being quite low because he is one man army, just he is so far up the game and you only end up seeing high mr players playing him. He also requires skill to play, which makes him bad compared to Saryn or Octavia :steamsalty:

Atlas i think
i saw few peeps use him at hydron when his deluxe came out.
but few days later almost no one use him in any mission i went into.
except in kuva survival once

well if aiming is not a skill that you can master I guess you should stick to aimbots like Mesa or toggle simulators like Octavia :steamsalty:

There is reason a lot of people like Ignis, because you do not have to aim. Combine it with Saryn and you get to be the worst player doing top damage, because mechanics and proper balancing are out the window here and players do not have incentives to really use skill unless they want to and enjoy doing it.

Problem is when no skill required mechanics are also strongest ones, that pushes away good players and leaves a toxic bunch of bots who cry when op thing that ruins the game gets nerfed....

SARYN BAD
AIMING GOOD
Ah yes, aiming with arca plasmor takes a lot of skill. the enemies are so slow even console players can aim at them, and this takes just about zero actual skill or eye/hand coordination

Warframe is not a skill based game. Never has been, never will be.

I never claimed that ever.

Players of different skill levels exist and low skill players will suck with Harrow, easy as that.
Harrow is skill based, Saryn or Octavia are not as both you and me, and my grandma can do exactly the same as Octavia players.
But my grandma cannot do well in Harrow for a while, need to learn aiming, practicing aggressive support role which requires years of gaming to pull off right and I am not talking against lvl 5 enemies but do it right when it's risky.

I think that is a fact, no one can claim Octavia requires any skill...

So I am not really sure where you were going with that comment.... Like because Sayn is be all and end all then Warframe is not skill based? Sure, I agree, remove few layers of that and there is skill and practice, you learn how to mod and that is skill, you learn combos if you are not Atterax main and to apply proper combos at proper time requires skill and experience, synergizing requires it too, supporting requires skill, using buff at the right time, rotating, knwoing when to back out...

It is not Shroud level of skill that is required but it is still a thing you learn and master over time, I mean, even with top gear you simply cannot do Tridolons on the first try, takes a lot of time to practice them well enough to pull off 4+ a night. Sure it has to do with paying for top riven, but it also has A LOT to do with timings which is skill.

So I find your comment really weird, game that is not skill based is a game where good players cannot do any better than a bad player no matter how good he is or how much more experienced he is.
I cannot really think of any games where that is not a thing.

You're giving yourself too much credit, lmao. Pressing 2 once in a while and spamming 1 at everything that moves until it stops moving isn't very hard to pull off, like, at all.
