I will never dig out of my eternal forma drought. But at least now I have a reason to get more Nitain. When I run out, at least.

I see no problems, you can either do that, or farm another version of a same warframe, make it, buy a slot, buy a reactor, buy a exilus adapter, spend 4+ forma to make a decent build and then switch between them.

This is the wildcard aura polarity forma, right? I think the costs are steep, but perfectly fair, considering how powerful that is.

This is a special forma that makes the aura slot compatible with all polarities at the same time.

In my opinion it's a bit pricey though, considering that on frames that I have the aura polarity reset to nothing (to swap out whenever I want) I spent 5 forma. And one of them is an umbra chroma..., not to mention nitain etc.

It's a welcome addition that's a bit pricey for what it does, in my opinion. If it was 3 forma 5 nitain I think it would be fine.

We could. The point of this forma, apparently, is that it'll make the Aura slot on the affected Warframe no longer care about the polarity of the Aura mod you put on it; it will treat it as a matching polarity and give you the double capacity bonus regardless.

Pretty much what I have already been doing all these years for several existing frames. At this point these aura formas will be handy for me for upcoming frames.
At least there is now a decent nitain sink, some of us have waaaay too much of that stuff.

it is not OP, it would just remove any choice you have to make which makes it a bit stupid, removes all the planning of builds, fitting stuff etc.

But Aura makes a lot more sense as that is a thing you kinda wanna switch depending on occasion, at least on couple of warframes it is pretty neat.

Auras work different from mods, it is not only a your own build thing but also a team synergy thing.

I really hope they won't introduce universal mod polarity, that would be really dumb to have.
And inconsistent, for example as is - it should not work with Umbral polarity as if it would then Umbral Forma would be worthless.

So really bad idea imo, even tho I own 2 Equinox Prime just because there is no way to make all builds with just one set of polarities. Also she has more than 3 builds to begin with...

But I think universal exilus polarity should be a thing, feels really bad to change it for those minor buffs.

Let's be honest, once you get one and set it on a frame, it'll be a fun little gimmick for a couple of days, and then you'll just stick Corrosive Projection on and forget it's even a thing.
All it is really is a time-sinky and pricey method of changing the aura to a '-' polarity.

As for what No_Quarter said, I agree, an Exilus Forma would be so much better, as there are a variety of exilus mods that have good and practical uses. I'd much rather have that.

because one youtube video said it is the best and be all and end all of auras and people just continued the trend without a single question.

Luckily for for everyone, majority of people can think and/or do math so Corrosive Projection is not a top used Aura, even with all the fanboyism of "just use it by default" kind of approach.

Confirmed few times over and over, still far from it.

Not saying it is bad, just saying it is not a default aura material for all factions and and scenarios and especially now when high capacity mods are here such as Umbral mods.
