The devs get to save by automating a thing that makes everyone else's life worse.
Congrats, you fell for the bait.
Well, ♥♥♥♥.
Some of these "security measures" can be unnecessary and just downright painful. I’m really unsure why trading can’t be optimized to be any made any easier. Putting security measures on simple things like this is just blatantly stupid. I can’t describe it in any other way.
I’m still really not a fan of that certain part regarding the TFA and all of that, but eh. I can live with it.
What are you referring to? What's the plat for? (Kind of a new player here)
.. and sentinel spots.. and their weapons
.. and loadout slots
.. and riven slots
.. and pet slots
Not to mention cosmetics, mandacord options etc etc...
However in WF's case the 2FA makes no sense, because it's unusual for the code to be sent to email, rather than a phone device, like Steam.
Since your steam account is linked, WF should be able to authenticate via Steam instead of warframe.com. It should be that way.
Holy shi.... wow. Definitely not going to put my bucks there.
I didn't think any of us had a choice in the matter. Either you 2FA or you don't trade ever again. That was my understanding of it.
No one said you HAD to spend that much. But 4 boosters at 200 plat each add up quickly on top of everything else.
My problem with you saying this crap is that the OP is a new player, and you're sitting there telling them that they may feel compelled to spend $1000 on basic necessities like slots, and that's total and utter ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ , with or without trading.
Even saying a couple hundred is an unreasonable sounding amount of money, but even that would've been preferably to cranking up the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and exaggerate with a figure like a thousand bucks. When it comes to matters like this, stop with the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ exaggeration and hyperbole, it has absolutely no place in this discussion.
