also you do not seem to understand, no matter how many times you tell me how many wisps it is possible to get by farming them I will still dislike THE WAY it's done.
It is braindead, it involves no actual gameplay , it is not fun, it is boring and a hassle.
And I am happy to get wisps the other way even if it means sacrificing Forma I can get faster doing it other way. Not to mention trading, it is better in the long run, you may not get Forma value right now but once you start thinking in the long run you will end up with piles of platinum which is the case for me.
So why sell one Sacrifice every day? That is not how long run works.... Also not sure why would you invest EVERYTHING in either Forma, Wisp or Sacrifice, seems quite a bald way to play the game tbh.
Aura Forma...... How many did you get? With 1.5-2.5% drop chance I imagine it is a lot.
How many did you apply? Not enough warfrmaes where it matters. So 4 forma there..... Out of 400 you get per year by making them, getting them from invasions and sorties etc.
I am amazed someone got so offended that someone HATES wisp farm.
Triggered so bad he ignored base math - you can get those wisps in couple of minutes by farming, you can get those wisps in couple of minutes with Plague Star.
You can get Forma by couple of minutes of farming, few capture fissures which are 1-2 minutes long, few vault Runs which are up to 3 minutes each and you got your self a Forma.
Or you can do it with Plague Star.
The difference ples? Apart from subjective difference of purchasing stuff with Platinum instead of Standing - there is none, you are pretty much converting same amount of time in Forma or Cetus wisps, and considering people are different - we may like different approaches.
Basic example would be "WTB Prime Junk 6:12" - a very popular message. Why people do it when they can go in and farm it them selves? Because they do not feel like playing that and their economy allows them to spend like that while making tons on other ends.
Same basic principle here, Forma is really not as valuable as you make it out to be, sure it is required but it is VERY cheap to get it and with 12 plat per forma I really think it is so easy to get your hands on it - way too easy to claim it a valuable
And again, this coming from a perspective of someone who did make his own dojo, not just the labs but everything and Forma'd most warframes and most with Umbral Mods (apart from Loki, Limbo, Revenat and Hildryn as I have no desire to touch them ever again), with 90 rivens being most on weapons so full builds on a lot of weapons, archwing with 4 Forma, all archguns with 3-5 forma, archmelee too, all sentiniels built and forma'd, all moa's, some pets as I hate to bother with stasis but soon that will go away and I will invest forma in all of them.
So like if I can not buy ALL the forma on plague event but maybe take a few - I bet most people will do just fine. It was a bit tight when I was building a dojo, but some Vault Runs helped me out, on average you can get 3 good mods per 20 minutes which should nail you 60-70 plat which is 6 forma. 6 forma that's ready to use. You cannot do that with Plague Event - so by using your logic, why are you hurting your self with Plague Star? I'll answer, it's because you like playing it more than you like Vault Runs. See the pattern? You are ignoring a better farm, 1/3 Vault Run drops are good drops that are market viable, each mod has same drop chance so per time played it is a better value, not to mention that it is easier to do as you are just walking around and considering that new players come each day those mods sell quite damn fast.
Hope this helps you figure out that there are many more ways than your way and that even your perfect way has some obvious flaws that are created by your own desires and comfort.
If I actually had a large amount of formas already made, I could easily go through 3 or 4 every single day. That's before adding in the 160 or so for aura formas which, if you aren't so narrow minded, you realize open up build diversity for every frame, not just 1 or 2 as people want to claim.
I have no issue with you wasting your own time, go ahead and use plague star to get 200 wisps that would take very little time to farm if you want.
I DO have an issue with misleading advice such as recommending someone use plague star standing to get wisps which can be gotten much much easier in other ways. Even more so when the person giving the advice obviously realizes that wisps can be gotten in an easier way but doesn't bother to mention that they are recommending their way just because they don't like the better method.
Fine, wait 2-3 months and then have to sell 2-3 sacrifices every day instead of realizing that "1 every day" was on average. Either way, you're still waiting and depending on the market instead of having the guarantee of the formas you could have bought outright.
For people like me who detest the market side of warframe, fully made formas are made even better because you don't have to deal with 3rd party websites and / or trade chat at all to gain the benefit from plague star.
I've made and applied 3 aura forma so far. It would probably be more except I have to farm forma blueprints and wait 4 days of forma crafting time before crafting an aura forma.
Aura Forma matters on EVERY warframe, get out of your narrow minded "only best build matters" hole and realize that several recent changes have been designed around increasing the possibility of build diversity. Try something new instead of your personal meta. Of course, if you truly thing aura forma are only useful on 1 or 2 warframes, it's unlikely you'll ever try anything new.
160+ forma is not a small number of forma, that's what it takes to make aura formas for just 1 version of every known frame right now.
I'm not offended that you hate wisp farming. Heck, there are tons of things I hate farming. I AM offended that you're recommending someone make an obviously poor choice without explaining that you are only making that choice yourself because you hate the more efficient method.
Comparing time?? then why bother with plague star at all?? you can get plenty of wisps with almost no time investment just by buying from quills merchant with drops you'll get farming eidolons for arcanes anyway, or are you recommending not bothiring with that too??
Not everyone wants to use their time being a merchant or running boring relic missions or vault runs just to play merchant to get plat. Even if they DO like that, their plat could be spent on other things than the formas they can get easily from plague star. And they'd still eb ebtter off not getting wisps that way.
And as for "getting triggered" lets recap... Someone asked for advice on farming wisps and you gave bad advice for plague star based on your own dislike of the much better method.
I pointed out that your advice of using plague star to get wisps was bad and then gave my own advice as to the issues that OP raised about his wisp farming.
Then YOU responded with profanity. Yeah, I was the one triggered obviously.
Really?? You think you're the only one to do all that?? I also made my own dojo, with everything, and all the researches, and all the weapons that require forma to build, and have forma'd out most of the frames, and the sentinels and archwings and companions and K-drive and tons of weapons including archwing weapons.
You know what I also did?? I also got enough wisps to make everything that requires wisps and then some without buying any from plague star. And of the 2 options, I STILL need more Forma with no need at all of wisps. If I ever DO need wisps again, I know a few fast night cycles will give me plenty enough. I can't say the same about Formas.
Sure, you can throw plat at formas, but plat has other uses as well, and if you did just use plat to get all of your forma, you'd still be better off not running plague star to get wisps when it's so much easier to run a few cycles of the plains to pick them up or just buy a few every day from quills.
You really should read this to yourself a few times because your entire argument so far has been that your way is best because it's your way because you don't like the other way.
