So I rely on parkour, Nezha with Mobilize is still top of the game, like, I beat any speed spammer Volt by a mile even tho he is really trying, like 5% damage, no kills, so he is all about rushing while with Nezha I can flick shots mid air and still beat him to the goal.
Not like I am racing with people, I just compare things because after you spend nearly 4000 hours in the game you kinda get deep into territory of paying attention to stuff. And it is not a tryhard fast build and I am not really racing, just rushing to the point while flicking and trying to nail headshots, so that could even be improved.
ummm not really, speed spammer cannot seem to catch up with me while I am with Nezha, sure, I am very experienced with this game and that may be the edge over him because after the initial speed buff Nezha is so far ahead, I do not even get his other speed buffs and he cannot touch me.
Parkour is way faster with Nezha because of his insane slide, with Mobilize you get more speed and distance to nail jumps that are hard with Volt as constantly changing gears makes jumping inconsistent and that is where parkour and understanding when to apply what wins.
So movement is not just running, it is utilizing entire movement system.
Yes, on straight line Volt may beat my Nezha, but no tileset is a straight line.
And on straight lines Nova ♥♥♥♥♥ on Volt anyway.
For me using everything wins, Nova and Zephyr are awesome for open world and not that good for tilesets but okay, Volt is good for a straight line but makes players ♥♥♥♥ up jumps, Nezha is imo fastest all-round as his slide is insane, takes time to learn it and to control it but once you master it he can tackle any given obstacle quite efficiently.
At least for me tho, guess if you get used to spamming speed Volt every 4 seconds you can be consistent with it, but one Growing Power or Power Donation and your consistency goes out the window.
Same as my consistency with Nezha drops when I get Volt's speed buff - I actually make way more mistakes and I feel way slower as I get A LOT of wasted movement to counter the unexpected reactions.
Again, I am not racing, I just like to reduce any wasted movement as much as I can, Warframe's movement system is amazing and fun and one of the main reasons I stick with this game for a long time. Side product of it is that I am very likely to be in front of everyone but that was never a goal, my goal is having fun with nailing jumps and rolls and slides and flicks and Nezha is my answer.
With Wall Running being teased by Steve I am looking forward to another (hopefully) useful mechanic
People like it when they don't have to spam two buttons constantly to move fast.
Out of ALL the times Volt speed spammed in my games, I needed it like less than 0.1% of the time. Way less as it was only good against Wolf when I only had my melee with me
just so other people have to spam backflip every 4 seconds so they could actually be even faster, gr8 design 10/10
You can't just pinball yourself on every tileset, if you want to go faster than running just roll around.
