Fire rate on Ignis Wraith, Amprex, Synapse and Glaxion make any real difference on DPS?
I am noticing a slighly boost in damage but my ammo consumption is much greater now, I wonder if this is worth, note that I'm not only talking about mods, but frames who can boost fire rate. i.e Wisp

Always worth it from buffs, same efficiency but greater DPS. As for mods, it's not worth it for most weapons, just increase the DPS via damage mods instead.

DPS = Damage Per Second.
without mod you shoot 1 bullet\second
with mod you shoot 5bullets\second.

not a rocket science, eh?

oh well, TTK = Time To Kill

without mods it would take 5 seconds to kill a mob
with mods it would take 1 second to kill a mob.

It will increase time to kill but also increase ammo consumption.

TL;DR: It's not really worth it on beam weapons. Better putting more damage mods in it's place.

IMO it's only worth it on the Ignis Wraith. Boosting the default 8 rps on a 200 round magazine makes sense to me, the others you listed are 12 rps and are fine without a fire rate boost, and all have smaller magazine sizes compared to the Ignis Wraith.

Ignis wraith has a great ammo stock, but really has no need for fire rate mod as depending on your build with elementals, should be able to pick up the slack forma or none (or riven). Even with wisp/volt buffs you shouldn't have any problem with ammunition management.

If absolutely necessary try to pick up carrier or carrier prime and have virtually limitless ammo with its ammo conversion. The sentinel really comes in handy for long hauls.
Apologies if explanation is worded weird

Correct. If you go for a status/crit (hybrid) build that it's pretty much known for, having fire rate is great. Vile acceleration is great for it.

It depends on if you're going for raw damage or if you're also going for status procs. Raw DPS relies on a few factors, like fire rate, damage, magazine size, and reload speed

If you're going for status procs, they rely on base damage and elemental damage. Status chance increases the chance per hit, and fire rate increases the number of hits per second. And since most status procs can stack, fire rate comes in handy for that

The main exception is heat damage, because heat procs can't stack, they only refresh the initial proc's timer. In that case you're probably better off maximizing damage and status chance, since your fire rate loses effectiveness in status procs alone (although for raw DPS it is still just as effective as ever)
