Hunter Command mod makes your pet target enemy with slash procs so it kinda help your pet focus but at end game, you'll most likely one shot anything below level 80 so it's kinda pointless.

Hunter Adrenaline is the best mod of the set. It is a buffed up Rage mod. Tanky frames can absorb hits to refill there energy and the mod combo well with the Quick Thinking Mod to make many frames near unkillable. Quick Thinking stops your hp from falling below 2Hp and use your energy as a "2nd life bar". Frames with self heal can take advantage of both mods.

Hunter Munitions: This mod make a lot of crit weapon viable due to being able to proc slash procs which does true damage and bypass armor and shield defense. The Baza is a great example of a weapon that can make use of Hunter Munitions.

Hunter Recovery: This mod make it so that 30% of the damage your pet does lifesteals to heal you. On Khora's Venari and the Helminth Charger, they can near full heal you if you built them for fighting.

Hunter Synergy: If you are using a high crit weapon, this add 30% of it crit to your pet.
Example: Soma with 75% critical chance will grant a 22.5% critical chance boost.

Using the mod set with the Helminth Charger pet make it does a lot of damage but the Helminth Charger has it own mod set made just for it so no point really using it. Strain Mod Set.

I am not 100% sure if the mod set works of Khora's Venari but if it does, Venari already deals a lot of damage so with the Hunter Set it might be very viable. I'll test it out later and see if it will work. If I recall, when Khora came out, Venari did not get the set bonus so maybe things might have changed.

Please PLEASE let us know what you find. I'd test it out for myself and post results, but I haven't built her frame yet.

The Hunter set bonuses do not apply to Venari as neither do any Mod Set bonuses for exalted weapons excluding Sacrificial mods. The mods themselves do work though. So Hunter Recovery is a nice supplement to Venari's heal stance.

Something to note about Hunter Munitions is that the slash proc chance is independent of the weapon's stats, which means weapons that deal low or zero slash damage can still benefit from it. The Synapse is a good example, since it's a Corrosive-only weapon with a high base crit-chance.

On top of that, the Slash procs from Hunter Munitions do not necessarily have to scale from a weapon's Slash damage. A weapon can have absolutely no Slash or Physical damage and still apply powerful Slash procs through Hunter Munitions, like Pakaku's example of the Synapse.
