Requiem mods
So, I killed Lich and 3 mods lost 1/3 lights. What happens to them after they reach 0/3?

I "think" the mods match verses that get "whispered" in mission and in order to kill the litch you need to use the right mods in the right order.

Not sure what you get if you kill him or if killing him unlocks the special relics for the guns or if he just drops guns that have different stats depending on the mods needed to kill him.

Or something ... honestly I have no clue and this was my best guess after reading the patch notes.

I ended up buying the litch hunter pack and spare set of relics.. still not sure what to do with them.

Honestly with so many confusing layers of RNG and the game not wanting to be clear I tried to buy the weapons but you can't even do that.

you need to kill the lich's thralls, in the nodes hes controlling, you get about 6-10 in every mission, but if your friend has nodes on different planet where you dont, those thralls count to your progress aswell and vica versa
you need to kill, i think, 50 thrall to reveal one of the 3 mod you need to kill the lich, the lich has some chance to show up in thee missions, beating him will level him up (i think, not sure if its because of that or because you clear his nodes) and he gets significantly stronger, for example, i can easily 1 shot a level 1 lich, but the same weapon barely do anything to a level 5 one
when you know all the 3 mod, all you need to do is figure out the correct placements of the mod, which isnt hard, consiering theres only 9 possiblity, if one is correct the game will tell you, the same goes for the wrong one, when you killed you, you get 2 choice, convert him to your side or kill him, in both case youll get his weapon, and the loot he stole, then you can start again

also, the mods are tradeable and considering that all of them is uncommon, you can pretty much just trade one for another in case you got duplicates

I believe the question was "What happens to them after they reach 0/3?". Everyone is being Cpt. Obvious regurgitating the same thing...you got to get new mods. Yes, cool, probably everyone knew that. But...what happens to them after they reach 0/3? (since they are still in your mod bar.
Their background image gets changed to look "broken" and the word "DEFILED" is added to the end of the name. I'll be holding onto them in case they end up having some use in the future. And for posterity, I suppose.

Each requiem mod has three charges. A charge is expended per mod on a successful lich takedown. When a requiem mod is fully depleted they become "defiled" and unusable for lich hunting. These defiled mods can be converted into 500 endo each.

Personally, I hope they allow us to spend Kuva to restore a charge (or the entire mod) to make them reusable.
