Why don't people use the zarr ?

I mean its literally the best weapon in the game. I'm not biased at all I just think nothing beats it especially when you have a multishot riven and Mirage. Just pop Hall Of Mirrors and nuke the whole map

Well, it's not a bad gun, but I wouldn't call it "the best weapon in the game". Sure if you pop a riven and Mirage the damages should be pretty high, but we have so many guns, it's up to people to use what they like (or what youtubers say for some).

I had fun leveling it, but it's far from my playstyle.

Is it good, definitely. Best in the game definitely not. With a Riven and Mirage clones for damage increase most stuff is bound to be amazing.

I blame the melee update. Now that a melee attack causes you to holster your non-melee weapon... easier to forget if you have the Zarr out... and what mode it is set to ^_^.

I've planned on an ugly mission using Croma without skins,a Zaw with rivens,a Zarr,twin rogga,kuva syadana & kuva attache' maybe djin or shade as companions.i'm going to capture an eidolons at night ":D

It has too low dmg for sortie lvl content and there are weapons with better clearing potential for low lvl. It also deals self dmg which limits its usage in certain situations.

I love the zarr one of my favorite weapons its a grenade launcher/shotgun makes it super fun to use.

For me, it's because Zarr is ugly despite its amazing stats.
It looks like an industrial Grineer-styled pipe-trumpet that spits bombs instead of songs.

The mechanic is something I really like in that thing - pretty much identical to Unreal Tournament's Flak cannon

arca plasmor without any of those can be a better weapon. any frame can use it and it will slay every thing in front of it. other weapon? Arca Jr. a.k.a Catchmoon. other weapon? Dokrahm. need more? Rubico, Fulmin, Plague Kripath, Tombfinger, Ignis Wraith. i can go on and on
