How to build Zaw with slash
I just build and lvled up (no forma) my first Slash Zaw. Polearm with banana shaped sword blade. ATM I have 70-85% status chance and only 10% crit chance with 3.2 multiplier (with BloodRush naturally).
Is that OK? Does that scale nicely with lvls 100+?

I'm concerned that I should have higher Crit Chance. I wanna have at least 1 nice zaw for sort-of end game/endurance runs

Yeah I'm considering doing so, but I'm not sure if slash build required Crit. Does it?

Ekwana Ruhag II (or the one for attack speed if you like) is likely the best link out there, you get more than enough status and good critical capabilities to make a legit Blood Rush / Condition Overload combo build.

Cyath rivens are not that expensive so if you like the weapon you can try to get an unrolled one and maybe you'll get lucky

If your base status chance is higher than your base crit chance, then Blood Rush will probably cover for you if you're going for a hybrid. If you're really that concerned, you could always do the math and see how Blood Rush will scale at different multipliers
Ekwana II Jai is what I have now. So in total - Cyath, Sthung, Ekwana II Jai. That gives 10% base crit chance and 32% status base chance. I dunno how that will scale with lvls 100+

10% is a bit too low for Blood Rush, so you either need a critical riven, or just switch to Ekwana I *something* as that leaves critical chance on a fairly usable one for Blood Rush.

Your zaw can work well and will work well, here we are just talking about minmaxing and for melee builds top class is when you can shove Blood Rush and Condition overload on a build that has above 15% critical chance and above 35% status chance in total after all the mods.

15% Crit / 35% Status chances after all mods is valiable for min-max? I have my ayes so whidely open right now! I have to read mutch more about that. Thx pal!

You've heard of "spin2win"? That's what this weapon does. You perform slide attacks. Over and over. And those slide attacks hit, and crit, HARD.

So I made a spin to win weapon not knowing about it haha. I don't really like weapons like that vey mutch. I play like that sometimes but I prefer normal mele attacks with combos. I'll keep it ofc and will follow your build.

Thx very mutch all of u guys! I'll keep spin to win Zaw but will look for a Crit Riven so I can casually play with combos. O7

that mix is viable if we are talking about a hybrid build where CC and status compliment each other.
15% critical chance is where Blood Rush starts to make reliable yellow crits on any combo which qualifies you to use Organ Shatter mod and 35% status chance is where you will hit status effects often enough to trigger Condition Overload enough for it to actually make a difference.
Like, if you just go for 80% status it makes no sense as there are only few status types on your weapon and most enemies will die before you inflict ever single one of possible status effects to them.

So imho going over 60% status on a melee weapon is a diminishing return unless you are talking about some super fast corrosive armor stripping beast but even that is a purpose made build and not a genuine minmax build.

Critical chance benefits can be fun, make a stupid zaw with max crit, slap True Steel and find a riven with CC and you will have like 80% cc before Blood Rush. It can be fun to have red crits on 1.5 combo but I find it a bit more reliable if you stick to like up to 40% critical chance as you can afford other stuff in your build, overinvesting in one stat is a diminishing return in it self - if your riven already has critical chance for example using True Steel with it may not be the best option.

But if you only have CC and very low status, go ham, then you get a huge benefit when going from 15% to 30%.
