Tyl Regor, what the ....

Just tried to kill Tyl Regor on Uranus, what a complete nightmare, between him bugging out and doing a moonwalk and disappearing behind doors I ran out of ammo even though I had 6 refills with me.

I'm using a max rank Hek with 149 impact 1,034 puncture, 238 slash and 298 corrosive and with ammunition at 132, so that gun using about 600 rounds wasn't enough to kill him, I also emptied my secondary of ammo but he just kept teleporting around with me not really doing any damage to him.

Did a sadist design this level or is it just because of the bugs that he is impossible to kill ?

Him disappearing is part of the fight, not a bug. You have to kill Manic's or wait, I think.

Also, your damage is low. Upgrade your mods.

Plus, he's alloy armor so should mod for radiation instead of corrosive.

Also, if you were using a stealth frame, like many other bosses, he becomes invulnerable with no target to fight.

The manics in the phase where he hides through the door also have this mechanic.

I was using my Rhino to try and stop all his knockdowns so no stealth involved, I killed the Maniacs but I saw in a playthrough on Youtube that he is supposed to spawn a second wave which I never saw. maybe that's why I couldn't kill him as he didn't spawn the second wave.

Yep he disappeared which I was expecting but then he jarred around the area a lot looking like he was missing frames and going about 5 feet forward very slowly which he did around 20 times during the fight.

There are times in the fight he is invulnerable to any damage. If his health bar is black and white don't waste ammo.

When he does his shooting at the roof to flood the place he can't be hurt at all.

The maniacs also take turns taking damage.. they are not all vulnerable at the same time.

Most of the fight his shield just kept on refilling faster than I could ever damage it, he had yellow health bars and after a long time they turned red but still I wasn't getting through his shield at all with normal fire it seems.

Get a Rubico blueprint from the market... it is only MR6 req.

It sounds like a matter of raw damage then... never liked the Hek much myself. But people say it is good enough for starchart if invested into enough. Rank up mods and use Radiation as others have said.

Or just use Titania and slaughter them MUAHA HA HA <evil laugh>

I have always felt the true "mid game' of Warframe is finding the mods and ranking them up.

That's handy I just hit MR6 earlier today ;)

I had most of my mods maxed out on the Hek, +90% damage etc but I'm guessing that's not enough with that weapon, I'll try the Rubico and see if that makes a difference, thanks.

Rank up the mods that add corrosive damage, get a point blank on there and hells chamber if you have it. If not msg me in-game and I can hook you up with some mods or help you with it.

I was using hek when i was mr6 but didnt kill him with it,i use melee weapons to kill him i think,but never solo.yea,i think you need radiations build to kill him.killing tyl regor was easier than sargas ruk.But now i'm killing tyl regor alots more easier with arca plasmor 18k radiation dmg.i kill him like 2~3 shots & he's dead ":P

Oh boi,i'm at work place now.Bro,i give my specs later when i get back.i can hit more than 18k rad dmg cuz my serrations isnt max yet.Cuz i think its gonna cost me like 3~ 4 millions more credits to max mods.

My serration ain't maxed as well. It sits at +120% damage or something like that. I do have 40k endo but not enough mod slots to upgrade it on my rubico and I'm too lazy to forma it and exp it up ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

just get hell's chamber and scattering justice, so that the hek can kill most enemies in the game
