Platinum farming

Since I quit playing this game almost 2 weeks ago I might as well share the way I earned a bunch of platinum without fearing competition.
Feel free to share your methods as well.

This method will need you to have a few hundred platinum to make it easy cause you have to invest a bit.

So what I did was put a buy order in trade chat saying : WTB veiled Zaw riven 30p
People will sell them to you eventually even when the market price is 50-ish plat. You just gotta be patient.
After unveiling them the prices are this:
Unrolled kripath: 300p
Unrolled keewar: 150+p
Unrolled Dokrahm: 100p
Unrolled sepfahn, Mewan, cyath all 50p
All the other zaws Rabvee, Ooltha and Kronsh are trash and should be used to transmute into a new zaw riven.
I made over 8k plat with this method.
These prices dont account for the luck of unveiling a good stats riven, in that case the price will be higher ofcourse.

I used to sell primed frames but the prices got so low that it wasnt really worth the trouble anymore. Either way goodluck and have fun making profit.

Hi, thx a lot for this method i'll maybe try it out but the thing is that i have 0 tactic to farm plat some times i buy pistol riven for 5-10 palt open it and sell for +20 palt OR i sell +30 plat prime parts as soon as i get them from relics (if i already maxed that weapon/warframe ofc) or/and when i need quick plat to help someone or buy something i need asap, i just sell one of my few primed mods that i bought at few example from baro or sell just any rare mod from derelict.

but before MR10 here the best way to farm plat:

step 1 : farm random relics from random missions (captures at void are the best cause u get a relic per minute)
Step 2 : open them at capture or excavation missions (cause those are the fastest
Step 3 : sell them as a prime junk to others for 12 plat per 6 prime part
OR
Step 3 : sell them at warframe.market to the first person at buyer list

i recomend to farm fully sets and then sell them all at same time it work pretty nice

I used to do this as well, but prime set prices went down pretty hard this past year(not counting new primes). So I switched to selling rivens. Also I really needed Ducats.

I bet the profit makes up for some of those extremely convoluted unveil challenges...

Do tridolons, if you can do 5x3's or 6x3's reliably, that's 15 to 18 arcanes per night. Combine that with the cost of a r3 Energize (bout 2,3k), you can get lots of plat doing them.

That sounds so tedious I'd rather just buy the damn plat. It'd be quick and painless.

Not like you ever need more than a few thousand unless you're hoarding rivens.

True, wait for a good sale for a couple thousand plat or so, then sell bits and pieces and be patient and just farm over time.

15 to 18 arcanes per night?! I like to grind some, but woah!

This is a very good method if you have the right teams.

u right prime sets price going down so hard,i do rivens sells too but to borring farming kuva to me xD so right now im very stuck on platinum farm idk maybe is because im old hahah about arcane farms idk i do like thousands of runs and i just get x2 graces and x4 energizer arcane lol so bad lucky so i did not go anymore too....so sad but i keep my lanka riven already maybe is time to come back

Used to sell magus elevate, augur secrets, exodia contagion, and those alone make at least 10k before they kill it off. Well good thing you dont need that many plat in the game anyway.

I did alright, casually buying and selling unvaulted frames. In a couple weeks of casual trading I made about 50 bucks worth of platinum by buying Frost Prime blueprints, completing the set and then selling the complete set at a reasonable markup.

IMO, reselling is the best way to make plat in Warframe. For this you need to already have a bit of plat to start with. It's best to spend 5-20 bucks when you can get a 50-75% discount login bonus and then instead of buying all the cosmetics, first work on building your nest egg.
