Difficulty level?
Played for almost 6 hours now and i find the game so far very easy. When does the game become hard or do you have the ability to make it harder?

Power creep over the years has caused the game to become "easier". I wouldn't say the game ever really becomes "hard" as most of the stuff in game comes down to gear checks. A lot of the stuff that can be seen as hard will come at a later point in time for you with ESO, eidolons, profit taker, and arbitrations.

It’s more along the lines of enemies do more damage and take more damage at higher level. So difficulty comes down to knowing game mechanics and modding properly.

Hmm alright. I noticed you can go to the plains of eidolons very early does that make sense or is it better to do the "original" path first

What planets have you reached so far? Jupiter gives small challenge depending what weapons you use and how weapons are modded. Very noticable difficulty spike you will notice in Uranus. Many players have issues there and other planets after that.

You can go there, but its not really recommended since the open worlds and their hub zones have a separated progression system. Going there so early wont really give you stuff thats useful at your point in the game, focus on finishing the star chart and story quests first.

I felt the game becoming "harder" in Jupiter, Neptune, Uranos, Pluto.. etc
But this is true, this game difficulty is just about moding right and grinding a lot.

If you mod your weapons right, even Sedna will be easy.

Just reached Mars with excalibur at 30 and most other things almost as well.

Thanks for all the feedback! Already noticed some harder difficulties during the longer defence missions that was nice :)

Yeah upto Mars the game is really just in tutorial mode.

Jupiter Onwards is when your lack of mods begin to tell. But you carch that up quickly if you docus.

Defense (and other mission types that are "endless" rotations) will slowly scale up in level the longer you stay. That said, it sounds like you haven't gotten very far yet. Most consider the main starchart the "intro"
