are wolf creds useless now?

seeing that the upcoming nightwave use "nora creds" , does that mean that the extra wolf creds earned from last season has no more use?

and no selling them for credits does not count as a "use"

Yes, they're useless. We've known this since before the first nightwave even released.

I don't have a screenshot on-hand, but I remember reading that the Wolf Creds would only be valid until the end of the Nightwave.
My apologies if you hoarded them, hoping for better rewards. :-/

Otherwise people would hoard them, and as soon as season X begins and they've added in a big reward that costs a bunch o' credits, people would spend their hoarded wolfcred and buy it on day 1.

I don't see the issue in saving up for and buying out the whole shops items for that week since you are still going to have to grind out credits for future items.

they want people to play the game, if theyre able to buy everything on day 1, they probably not going to play that long, and even if they have to grind for the next one, they possibly still can skip that week

Then they should remove Plat, since you can buy a lot with that without playing a lot of the games content. Baro's Ducats work the same way allowing people to "save up", and that's not a problem.

Except platinum puts food on their tables. I'd guess the idea of season creds being for one specific season is to encourage people to play at least a little every week. I didn't need or particularly want anything I bought with my wolf creds - I just bought it because I expected them to soon be useless.

If I had the option I'd definitely have saved them for season two and then potentially ignored season two altogether if I didn't fancy the rank rewards. Of course another solution to that would be making the rank 30 reward absolutely amazing but that has problems of it's own like power creep and people who start afterwards complaining it's no longer available.

No, they're in inventory if you look. Can sell them for 5000 silver a pop.

they should just turn into a pile of wolf creds for decor as a way of showing participation in saturn six. any amount as long as you have spare wolf creds would turn into a pile

or maybe any amount as long as you have spare wolf creds they would convert into a real-size wolf statue. idk maybe
