Your favourite companion(s)?

I've been bouncing around between various ones, but I'm having trouble picking one to commit to, thought I'd ask which ones you guys use.

I was thinking the Chesa Kubrow. More loot is always good.

I'm enjoying sentinels at the moment specifically helios, but I enjoyed wyrm prime because of it's aesthetics.

My Kavats, honestly bounce between all three depending on the situation, but the default is usually the Adarza.

Carrier mainly for ammo case, now with exlius slots for weapons don't use him as much.
Smeeta for kuva farming
Adarza for everything else (near constant crits is nice).

Sadly, kubrows are.. trash, in comparison. And the charger is even lower than that..

If you're minmaxing, the only companion ever worth using is the Smeeta Kavat, swapped out for Carrier Prime exclusively for when you're using weapons with horrible ammo economy. Now that weapon Exilus slots are a thing, the number of situations in which it's mechanically worth using anything that isn't a Smeeta is even lower than it already was.

But, if you're not a meta slave, feel free to use whatever companion you like. Although Chesa Kubrow is probably the single least useful of them all.

Helios Prime for scans and pocket-Banshee crit spots, followed by Djinn for being able to revive itself if killed

Kavats are cool, but they can't equip companion guns, which I mod for extra Vigilante bonuses

Djinn because I don't have to babysit it and it can be made to not attack. It just carries Vacuum, Primed Animal Instinct, et cetera with minimum fuss.

Smeeta for general use.
Helminth charger for killing anything else that I'm not aware of.
The latest Vasca Kavat for long run where I don't care about the general loot.

Looty loots in a looty shooty is always nice. My fave companion has always been my Smeeta Kavat, Quicksilver, though. Guaranteed orange crits for 30 seconds, double resources, a free rare resource, negating damage, an energy refund, or insta-reload is just too good to pass up.

The latest Vasca Kavat is great for survival, though. Much more so than the Smeeta. 20% health for a full, free revive on difficult, long missions? YES PLEASE!

I tend to alternate between the two depending on mission type and whatever I'm feeling at the time. Shame they can't equip companion weapons, but that would be ridiculous if they could do that, on top of the other stuff.
