The really great thing about this game is that you can play for free and without trading for long enough to know if you want to stick with it or not.

It is the ultimate free demo...

If you decided you want to support the game that is awesome.

I got rid of cable TV years ago, just the same old BS and propaganda.

In the less than 2 years I have been playing Warframe I have spent about as much as I would have on Cable TV in that same period of time and I got a hell of a lot more enjoyment out of it and still have a box full of toys to play with.

I don't even like trading and didn't trade for plat.. I prefer to play the game.

Now that I have everything I can have beyond the odd rare mod, couple of log-ins and founders stuff and thousands of plat on top of that... I would still buy more if I got a 75% off just to support the game devs. I certainly don't need the plat!

I wish more game devs did things the way DE does and I am the type of person wiling to put my money where my mouth is.

playing like few day complains whales, while people who have patience play for half years and got so many catalyst and slot by doing event or crossfire mission.

farming prime parts can also trade for plat you can even rich if you do it right only within a week.

this is more like "I want to get everything after play for few hours so I will not actually get to play the game"

Why shouldn't I play a game when I say it's monetization is similar to another f2p game I also play?
Sorry, I don't see the logic in your well-intentioned advice.
I play Warframe since 2014 and have also spend a lot of money worth the salary of a good earning job in this game over the past 5 years, so quite enough. It's always funny how players on forums come up with the wildest assumptions when something upsets them.
But if we are already at giving each other unasked advices, I recommend doing some research of how f2p monetization works compared to other models and if not that at least search for the famous not Ted Tallk kinda Ted talk "Let's go whaling".

You can't buy Umbra Forma.

You absolutely do not need to whale. Learn basic trading; see what stuff is hot in the market right now and farm for it. Try to get it for cheaper and sell for higher (use common sense prices tho). It was difficult to adjust to the game at first, but once you tackle trading, you will have enough plat to sustain yourself. Not to mention Eidolon hunting, if done on occasion -- it can supply you with a steady source of plat.

Never in all my playtime have i bought plat, although i did buy cosmetics because the game rewarded me enough for me to give something back in return.

If you don't want to explore and learn basics of trade, that's completely fair, but that's also your problem.

havent spend any money on warframe, everything is pretty much farmed and traded for plat, reactor and catalyst supplies are not a problem for me since i pretty much farmed for it, even before the nightwave thing came out. in conclusion $0, just all hard earned items since i started playing years ago

You can still look cool in Warframe while being F2P. Warframes are inherently cool looking. And while I think Tennogen prices are a bit salty, they are nowhere near as expensive as the most basic looking stuff there are on BDO.

Keep in mind when you say that, that Tennogen stuff is created by players and they receive a percentage of the sales. There's a limit to how you can price that stuff and keep it reasonable.
