It's basic economics, then we also have price fixers and scalpers to deal with as well, which again, is why you have to pay attention and know what rivens are worth when you get into that "game". Because it's a different economic beast of it's own, because there isn't a guideline, the community creates their prices, and in turn, determines if those prices are acceptable or not by buying them or ignoring them.
Scams such as selling a riven under a pretext like "this riven is unobtainable, it only dropped from an old event" isn't allowed and can lead the serious consequences ingame if reported, this applies to any item
Manipulating the price and auctions isn't a violation of the waframe guidelines, because in the end both the seller and the buyer have to agree on the trade.
High prices that few are capable or want to pay isn't a scam, if it was you would have valid grounds for a massive report wave, leading to a ban wave.
If you can't have a solid argument for a report, then the high prices aren't a violation of warframe guidelines, so it's not scamming.
I didn't make the rules nor the free market.
nyx is just mediocre?
This has to be considered scamming right?
I like her new skin, that is all I can say that's good about her. At the same time I am sad that skin is not on some other fun warframe but Rebecca has her fingers in it so Nyx, even tho THE LEST used warframe in the game has the most skins, if you only make half decent tennogen for Nyx it will be introduced.... Totally not because Rebecca is the only person who likes Nyx, well, apart from those 10 passionate players.
Which in laymen's terms means - on average people were offering 10$ for an item but people who had it were confident that 24.8$ is a fair price for which they'll part with the item.
No, budgets and prices are personal decisions
Even if you come out with a budget for something, you still need to ask the seller for how much he is selling, they often respond because they have tought about it.
It works, kinda, but don't use averages to decide how much things should go for, dont impose your decision on others
