how to invite a friend

me and a friend of mine have started playing but im on a later mission. when i try to send him a friend request it dosent work. we are both on pc

Is your friend done with the Prologue quest? I think it might block the player from joining games until they're past a certain point. Either way, make sure the hosting person has their lobby set to Invite Only, Friends Only, or even Public. If you have each other added already, you can click on the + icon near your name in the pause menu and invite them from there. Or you can type in the chat /invite (their username) .

Hi Guys my friend and I were having trouble with the Network Ports [UDP} 4950 - 4955. Login as usual, start the game and once in go Esc. and options. Click on the third tab System. Scroll down to Network Ports [UDP] and one of you need to change up or down one click. I chose up and now we can are showing as online and friend requests went through. Hope this helps.
