How to improve operator?

Missed too many damn updates, and quests where I need to use the operator are kicking my ass.

Do Eidolon bounties. Max rank and guild your amp in Cetus.

Farm Focus points and spend them on the Focus schools (Vazarin, Naramon, Zenitel, etc.)

And most importantly, make sure your operator is fashionable and KEWL >#*.*#<

It's a rather long grind.

You need to finish Saya's Vigil quest (or whatever it's called) in Plains of Eidolon.
This will unlock Quills sindicate, and give your Operator a starting weapon - amp. It's ♥♥♥♥.

From now on, it's split focus between farming Focus and farming Quills for their amps and operator arkanes.

Both are generally achieved by Eidolon hunting. Eidolons drop Quill reputation, some materials you'll need for leveling up, and Shards. Shards are converted into massive amounts of Focus for schools, and bypass daily Focus cap.

The other way to farm Focus is to install lenses into your gear, and hit ESO. That's limited by cap.

Each of 5 schools have 2 "waybound" nodes that provide stat increases to your Operator. At max rank of those nodes, you can unbind them for an Eidolon shard and 1mil of Focus - this will make the node universally available no matter the school. So you can, eventually, have all 10 of them at the same time.

Quills, on the other hand, will sell you better amps (that are barely useful outside of Eidolon hunting though), and number of pretty dope arkanes. 2 of them increase Operator health and armor, respectively.

There's also Vox Solaris syndicate in Fortuna, offering their set of Operator arkanes, but they are much more niche that Quill ones.

I have gone to the Quills, yes. Was wondering if there was anything beyond that (Umbra was hipthrusting the bloody pile of meat that used to be my operator repeatedly).

yeah, the mote amp they give you is crap compared to any you build yourself

I'm still using mote amp.i'm mr 13 now.Too lazy,besides there so many even pops up lately.btw i can strips eidolons sheilds with dat mote ":P
