I'm betting it would have had more damage if people didn't cry about self damage for cyanex. Now DE will just nerf explosive/aoe weapons before release because the drawback of self damage isn't present. Hence being left with crap max ammo to balance it out.
Take a look at the Saint of Altra update notes, note the second period after the Akarius description: Rockets arm after reaching a safe distance.. <-- 'Resentment intensifies'
How the hell do you even manage to die from that weapon?
its just a light show, looks cool but thats about it, have fun shooting the ground.
It's weaker than the recently released Zhuge prime which basically has the same functionality, only with extra ammo.
What would you recommend?
Okay, I built it this way, then I also did my own 4 forma build with a maxed heavy calibur (barely affects accuracy) heat hunter munitions the typical damage duo and bladed rounds with standard crit mods. Better damage than that youtubers configuration but my Zhuge Prime still blows it out of the water without the ammo problems. Also reloads faster just by emptying the mag first as opposed to having to sprint.
It has a base crit chance of 32% with a 2.8 multiplier, it justifies it PLENTY.
Get an ammo conversion mod on there.
Honestly how ez do you people want this game to get?
How is that justified when there are better weapons that don't have that ammo penalty, or weird circumstances around their reload mechanics?
It's still going to pull itself from your hands constantly if you are using it with redline and anything else that influences rof. I know this as someone who runs around exclusvely with carrier prime. Even if it's a smaller inconvenience that's a drawback that Zhuge Prime, a very similar weapon doesn't have.
ah ok I see, because other weapons dont have it, this one should not either.
And because this weapon has a 32% crit, all weapons should.
Lets make everything the same, that will be tons of fun.
