Is there a max number of loc pins you can place?

Thinking of using them for animal capture and races.

The map will look like a mess ha ha, but I don't want to get part way through and hit a limit or something.

I believe the limit is ten. Not sure if it is ten per map, or ten per account. Also not sure if the limit is still ten, it could have changed.

Ive seen people say 15 is the limit, this was 2 months ago tho. I have definitely seen more then 10 on the plains during eidolon hunts recently.
