Harrow: Is he worth it?
Planning to either doing the painful farm or just buy him with plat
Is he worth the formas/plat/time especially since he isnt primed yet?

He is.
And he will never get Primed.

Is there any proof for this?
I've never heard of it personally

DE said that every frame will get primed sooner or later, even the quest ones. It will take a few years tho.

Some would say the story hints at this, for it would be kinda strange for him to have an Orokin version. Not spoiling any more.
However same thing could be said of Valkyr, and yet- there she is. Valkyr Prime.

If he is worth it depends heavily on your playstyle of course. He is a dedicated supporter.

A bit more aggressive but also less tanky than Trinity. With a certain twist. You trade enemy lifeforce for effectivity for your team. By shooting them. Preferably head shots. And recharge yourself with an awesome area CC that Trinity lacks. She on the other hand has her press 4 to win button that instantly heals the team and applies a beefy damage mitigation buff afterwards.
Harrow grands damage immunity and the more damage you and your team eat in that short timeframe the better the following crit and hence offense buff. Kinda the more aggressive alternative to Trinity.

They compare well and are exchangeable in many situations. Trinity being more like a traditional MMO and rather tanky dedicated healer, Harrow more like a second row gun runner with a lot of neat gimmicks for your team. Both keep the meatgrinder machinery running, in their own way.

As for some more cases of breaking the logic for primes, I believe Nova once-upon-a-time was described as a newly developed warframe, along with Zephyr.

well honestly he would need some tweaks to his kit to make him better as at the moment he is being left behind by other frames. (harrow main)

All warframes will get their prime version, confirmed by DE multiple times

Absolutely. He can negate damage and turn it into critical chance, give people energy (and DE even buffed the energy gain to absurd levels, for some reason) with more effectiveness on headshots, increase his reload speed and fire rate, crowd control with a personal shield boost and, if memory doesn't fail me, one of his abilities heals people while he deals damage with his weapons, including himself. He's one of those warframes with a sorta overwhelming description, but that is quite interesting to play and a helpful thing to have in any group, without being detrimental like Limbo's niche or Saryn's killwhoring. He's a damn good support.

What do you do when half of the team is supporters? Like...a Harrow and a max buff wisp?
Well, ever seen a Harrow keep that Wisp running on her 4 which she usually wouldnt use? Glorius face melting!
With sound and visual effects, but also effectivity its like bringing a mass effect giant reaper cannon into the game :D

I mean, yeah, but they pumped it up like 4x the original amount or something, in a way that my previous Harrow build that sustained itself on headshots now can simply bodyshot all day long and get an exceedingly positive energy return.

YES
Harrow is my favourite frame easily.
I could write a book on why Harrow is so great and I even started but I deleted it since I think you want a brief answer and not an entire description on what makes him so great, but here is what he has to offer.
If you like being able to support your team while being able to do REALLY high damage and make ANY weapon you get into a portable-death dispenser, he is the warframe for you. Your team will LOVE you for playing harrow and your abilities will still allow you to be really strong in solo-play. In fact some people prefer him for solo.
The only negative things I can say about him is that his system is a pain in the ass to get and that his helmet looks a bit goofy, but I really like the fashion that I have for him right now.
Pakaku Aug 31, 2019 @ 6:06pm
He is complicated to learn, and requires some headshotting skills, but offers a lot in return for his team like healing, energy regen, reload speed buffs, crit chance buffs... Basically a battle-Trinity with a higher input and aim skill requirement and more bonuses in return

He's probably also the best example I can think of for synergy with signature weapons, because his Scourge makes it easy to land headshots, and the Knell benefits from making headshots, which is good for Harrow in particular because of headshots benefitting some of his abilities

As above, Harrow's abilities aren't just pop and use, they require certain mechanics to trigger their max effect which can take a while to learn or get used to. But once you do get used to them, Harrow can be good cc, buff and survival frame. I personally keep him on the back burner lol.

And a max buff Wisp (45% efficiency!) can actually burn through that with her 4 in a speed even he has troubles to keep up with. But its fun :steamhappy:
