What weapon should i get a riven for?

I'm mr19 and i've pretty much got my dream loadout and have a lot of meta weapons + rivens
I'm looking for fun weapons to play with that may be worth getting a riven for

I'm thinking of getting a supra riven atm

Fun weapons with a worthy riven? Sure. How about vectis prime with primed chamber. Only 800'000 plat. Or a solid Rubico prime riven, great weapon, just 42'000 plat on the market.

funny that i own a +cc +dmg +ms vectis and a +dmg +ms -sd rubico lol
primed chamber is actually quite a trash setup imo

None. There’s nothing in the game that remotely requires a weapon with a riven on it. They’re non-essential to all gameplay in this game.

The Supra Vandal is a pretty solid choice, with increased fire rate and punch through thrown in somewhere. I spent 1900p and 150k kuva on a Acceltra riven this week. No regrets. Find something you enjoy using and make it better.

this is my personal taste seeping in BUTTT
primaries wise i highly enjoy Hema or Veldt with a nice riven
secondaries i just ADORE my akjagara, paid a decent.. what? 80 plat for a good riven for it?
melee wise im a big fan of my skana (prisma) and silva and aegis rivens

this is, by design, a catch 22.
the best weapons are the most popular.
the most popular have the worst dispositions, making rivens do a lot less.

rivens, generally speaking, are catch-up cards for less favored weapons... they make something no one uses much as good as the popular stuff (if the riven is very good and the weapon is not exceptionally bad to begin with). So think average, usable but not awesome weapons.. find one with a good disposition and riven it, that is usually a win.

My approach: If I get a good riven, I will try out that weapon with it. If I can make it work well and like the gun's style, I will use it. I have a very good riven for the quartakk, for example.... 252% crit chance pushs me to 95% and 97% fire rate lets me shoot as fast as I can mash buttons, at the cost of 52% more recoil which is not bothering me. that puts me at a 5X multiplier on nearly every shot, making it a solid gun.

Same thing for my melee. I got a nice sephan (sp?) nikana blade riven so I made a zaw that uses it. That was a bit of trouble, but its a very nice riven... I have another for a plague star part, waiting on that to come around again to try it

get a lenz riven with negative firerate, or multishot, or really, any of the more important stas on it, and just have fun suffering through the game

probably a sniper riven, i bought one for around 1k+ from trade chat and it does help alot in tridolon hunt (before the dispo got changed).

zaw riven is pretty good too, i bought one with +range and improve my kill/s in ESO by alot

also maybe some kitgun riven for catchmoon with +crit chance,crit damage

I'm gonna chime in and say flight speed riven on a daikyu is more fun than it should be.
