Is Mutalist Alad V Soloable Part II?

From the Wiki:
"While playing solo, ValkyrIcon272 Valkyr's Hysteria130xDark Hysteria can swiftly take down Alad V with ease."

This is the only tip that mentions soloing, I have Valkyr Prime and put everything I got into her Hysteria.

I am unable to do enough damage in the <1 second that he's vulnerable for. I once took him down to about 30%, but he recovers all his health before he next becomes vulnerable. Also the infested who arrive after the boss battle has started do not drop more energy very often. So once I've run out of energy I may as well just quit the mission.

Edit: Also saw a couple of suggestions about using Loki and a high powered weapon (I don't have either of the ones suggested though). I don' t understand how being invisible is supposed to help? He doesn't hang around being shootable for any longer than when I am visible?

Thanks everyone. I managed to get him down to about 10% after pimping up my Hek a bit. I'll try again later with some more modifications.

Yeah no help at all except the multiple people giving advice on frame / weapon / modding to get it done without relying on someone else's schedule.

I usually use Ivara with high power strength - use prowl, pull out artemis bow, wait for the health bar to show up- 1or2 head shots at sortie lvl and he's dead_ easy

careful with that. a few bosses bug out if they can't see you. Dunno about this one.

Not really bug out, just "turtle down" in invulnerable phase until they see hostiles. Radiation on minions tends to solve that one.

Yup -- Lech Krill and Tyl Regor definitely stay invulnerable unless they have someone to hit and Sargas Ruk phase 1 and 2 (shoulder and chest) can sometimes stay invulnerable with no target.

Mutalist Alad V is definitely killable fully invis. He mostly stands there like a lump until his invulnerability goes down and you shoot him in theface. Then he freaks out and runs around before standing still again.

You can give him status too though it doesn’t danage him while invulnerable... but if he goes vulnerable with corrosive or viral you get a few ticks in before he puts his hat on again.
